#AsadorCamden — Restaurant in London

During my recent visit to #AsadorCamden in London, I had the pleasure of sampling their highly recommended beef fries and beef sandwiches, and the experience was nothing short of delightful. Nestled in the vibrant Camden area, the restaurant's atmosphere was inviting, with a rustic yet modern decor that immediately set a comfortable and relaxed tone.

We started with the beef fries, which were a standout dish. The fries themselves were crispy and perfectly seasoned, providing a solid base for the tender, juicy beef strips piled generously on top. The beef was cooked to perfection, with a rich flavor that was further enhanced by a drizzle of savory sauce. Topped with fresh herbs and a hint of spice, the beef fries were a delicious and satisfying starter that left a strong impression.

For the main course, we opted for their signature beef sandwiches. The sandwiches at #AsadorCamden are crafted with care, featuring high-quality ingredients that shine through in every bite. I chose the classic beef sandwich, which was served on a soft, freshly baked bun. The beef was again the star of the show – tender, flavorful, and cooked to a juicy medium rare. Accompanied by crisp lettuce, ripe tomatoes, and a tangy house sauce, each bite was a harmonious blend of textures and flavors. The portion size was generous, ensuring that even the heartiest of appetites would be satisfied.

My dining companion also chose the beef sandwich, and was equally impressed. The consistency in quality across both dishes was noteworthy. The balance of flavors and the quality of the ingredients truly stood out, making each bite a delightful experience.

Service at #AsadorCamden was exceptional. The staff were friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable about the menu, offering insightful recommendations that enhanced our dining experience. The ambiance of the restaurant, combined with the excellent food and service, made for a memorable meal.

People don't let the reviews fool you my wife and I was excited to be going. However upon arrival we tried to make sense of the queing system. So what we, figured out was the right hand side was for ordering and the left side was for the collection. However it seemed as though one particular Asador staff was overwhelmed by the people trying to understand their non signed, queing system. When it was our turn to order I just felt everything was being upsold to me. Bare in mind they don't give you a receipt/food order number they just shout out what they think. The lady thought by shouting to potential customers (if we don't que up correctly she would just close the stall down.) As if to say she's doing us a favour by being open. At this point I notice the lady doesn't change her gloves as often she touches the raw steaks and then gets a hand full of cheese with the same gloves and slaps on the burner whilst taking cash from customer I felt disrespected as a customer and straight away I knew the food wasn't going to be cooked with love. To my surprise the steak was bland, the chimichurri was dry and the so called wedge chips were just standard fries. That whole experience was a shambles never again...

Where do I start? What an experience! Firstly the queue…had no idea where it started from and then discovered it was going to be a very long wait indeed.

By the time we reached the counter to order we had been queuing for way over 30 minutes. We only ordered the Gaucho Burger as we had previously eaten.

After placing our order we had to join another queue to pick up. Again this was another long wait and couldn’t really tell if that was the line for Asador or the business next door.

When we finally got our burger (in total over 1 hour wait) it was delicious! The most flavourful and juicy burger I’ve ever had. The flavours were nothing like I had ever tasted before. The Gaucho burger was cooked to perfection and was a decent size.

My biggest regret is that I should have ordered 1 for myself. Lesson learnt…DO NOT SHARE as sharing is caring does not apply when you eat at Asador!!!

Now I understand all the hype and I would go back there in a heartbeat. The two guys working there did a fantastic job. One was cooking and the other taking the orders, trying to keep the queues in order and handing out the food. I can’t rave about this place enough. Just...
