Apologies for the pics. Didn't have enough time to take sexy ones as I wanted to try these bad boys ASAP. 1. The queue. Yes, we had to wait for some time to be seated but it wasn't long. The reason being is because there is only limited number of seats inside and the host was probably trying to make the chef's life easier by sending the orders through one by one rather than getting the place packed and then sending them all at once. 2. The staff. The guy who was serving us was very informative. He explained that there is a sequence. So basically dishes made from soft cheese will come first and the ones made from something like Stilton will be the last ones. I also loved the fact that they don't have to wear uniform and had their individual look. 3. The food. Ah... Would definitely go there again. The sandwiches were great! I could be having them for breakfast, lunch and dinner. But then I would probably end up living there... Mozzarella sticks were cooked to perfection. The only thing that I thought was missing was a pint of draft beer. Because the bar has launched recently I don't think they managed to get their license sorted. But as soon as the tap is going to be full, I'll be back. 4. Price. Two people can have a starter to share, a main course and a drink each for under £30. P.S. People who will make comments like: It's too cheesy don't deserve to go there. Mate, you came to the cheese bar, enjoy!

It wasn't worth at all. We visited here for cheese fondue but looks no one's happy who ordered fondue here by seeing reviews. I wanted to cancel the order when I went to the toilet - they don't have it, had to use public toilet in the market which was absolutely disgusting. It made my appetite gone! The fondue cheese was way too salty, first bite was fine but after it was just a torture to continue. Poor portion of bread and potatoes - how much it costs? 10p, 20p? Too stingy. They could have some variations of Vegi etc, boring. Sour dough bread taste very bad either. They serve white wine in soft drink cup which also made us annoyed as it will turn the wine warm quicker. There were two waitresses, one middle age with vivid rouge and one young chubby. We could see they were leaning on the counter, chit-chatting with a couple looked like their friends, but when coming to us they don't smile at all, no welcoming atmosphere. No toilet, no table (only counter) but they charge service - not sure if it's legal? We finished it within 30 mins and visited another restaurant in Camden. We will never come back. ****** To Ryen I kindly specified which staffs unwelcome the customers for you to distinguish, no mocking nor insult. Your comment just shows you have negative images to "middle age" or "chubby" but it doesn't mean everyone takes it as negative.

The first thing that stood out during my visit was the small portion sizes. I paid £14 for what was essentially a small portion of potatoes with a bit of cheese on top. While the presentation was nice, the value for money was disappointing. The flavours were average and didn’t stand out, leaving me with the feeling that dining out is becoming less and less worthwhile due to inflated prices. A meal here will cost you about £25-£30 per person (one drink, no dessert), which I found steep considering the small portions and underwhelming quality. My friend’s cheeseburger was more bread than filling and even the beer served wasn’t a full pint—just three-quarters of a pint at the price of a regular one elsewhere. The restaurant’s menu was also difficult to navigate, and the dishes showcased on their Instagram weren’t available at this branch, which felt misleading. Adding to the frustration, the Wi-Fi didn’t work, making it impossible to check for dish photos or additional information online. On the bright side, the ambience was pleasant, but that alone isn’t enough to warrant a return visit. Unfortunately, I wouldn’t recommend this restaurant based on my experience.

Do you love cheese? Do you enjoy wine with your cheese? If you answered yes to either of these questions, this is the place for you.

I had 5 Cheese Mac, cheesy truffle fries & a vanilla shake - as a cheese-loving person on the spectrum, it was a safe food haven.

The Mac is very very nice and cheesy, and the crunchy breadcrumb topping and black pepper inside it was a pleasant eat. It's served in a... mini skillet? I think that's the name?

The truffle fries.... Mmm. Exactly as tasty as I had hoped. If you haven't tried truffle fries, I would wager you are doing yourself a disservice.

The vanilla shake isn't too vanilla-y (not quite vanilla-y enough for my taste, I prefer more shaken udder levels of vanilla), but it's a nice balance between creamy and smooth. Not too thick, not too thin. A Goldilocks shake in texture. I had to have 2, as the first one disappeared rather quickly.

My plus 2 had the poutine - they said it was good, but Canadians do it better (having family in Canada, they are the expert). I tried a little, and I couldn't see the appeal. They also loved the truffle fries and the Mac (we shared a little), and felt the same way as I about both those two as well as the shake, also ordering a second shake.

Pleasant service - very friendly, good timing (you can have a nice conversation and a good look through the menu before you order) and efficient. Not too long a wait, about 15-20 minutes or so. Wasn't keeping track though :p

Atmosphere is nice, inside it's cooled and has modern design. Outside is still comfy, and you can people watch (added bonus) if that's your thing :) It rained, and the... Awnings? Umbrellas? Provided ample shelter.

All in all, would recommend. Would also revisit if I am in...

I wish I could give zero stars because I went today and was so excited to finally try it. when we arrived the server told us the cheese puffs were just as good as the mozzarella sticks and thatthey had cheese inside them. We got them and they were dry with no cheese other than a watered down dip that tasted disgusting. I guess the manager asked how they were when he brought us our meal and asked if they were dry (red flag number one) and we said yes and they just weren't good at all. He said well maybe the Mac will be better.. it wasn't. it tasted like Alfredo with way too many bread crumbs. I barely ate any of it and it was hard enough to get the server to refill my water (which by the way comes in tiny espresso cups) so by the time she came around to give us our check it was too late to ask for something else. I told her how disappointed I was and how it didn't taste like Mac and cheese and her response was "well its not exactly Mac and cheese its five cheese Mac"... well where are the other 4 cheeses? she said this Mac doesn't get baked like normal Mac but yet the bread crumbs on top were toasted and I didn't think baking would change the amount of cheese or the taste? I was very disappointed and what was worse was I told her how much I didn't like it and she just said oh I'm sorry, took my plate, and gave us the full bill even though I didn't eat all of mine. I feel this could have been handled differently with either a discount or an option to try something else but no. will not recommend this place to...

We came here on a Wednesday night in may for an after work meal. We had previously tried to come on a Friday but no tables were available, and even on the Wednesday threre were people waiting by half six, so definitely book online. The menu is quite simple (everything has cheese!) but the dishes are exquisite. There were five of us and we shared ten dishes between us, and this seemed like a good amount of food. Our particular favourites were the pouting (bacon gravy!), the raclette, and the "mac and cheese". But thats if we had to pick, everything was great, the amount of truffle in the Brie was just right, not overpowering, the marmite flavour in one of the starters was very subtle but just right, and the toasties were an amazing mix of flavours. The only slightly disappointing dish was the fondue, not to say it was bad, but not up to the incredible standards of the others. The drinks menu was nice a varied, we sampled a few of the beers and they were all very good. A nice selection of wine (which we didn't try) and some soft drinks. Staff were very friendly and knowledgable, and always there to help with decision making if we were stuck. Pricing was reasonable, with the total cost 22 pounds a head including tip. The decor is simple but nice, and all the chairs inside are high stools, a consideration if you don't find these comfy, but there is bench seating outside We will defiantly be coming back, and if your in the area then pop in. Even if your not, make the trip here...
