A beautiful shop but not as big as I was expecting. Seen a post on Instagram billing it as the BIGGEST sweetshop in London. Well, if that's the case I am there...sadly in my extensive sweetshop research this is most definitely not the biggest sweetshop. A small range of pick n mix, candy floss pots and lollies. A small range of ice creams with lots of different ways to have them presented for your taste buds to enjoy. So, I ordered an ice-cream. A snickers one which was bloody lovely 😍 but having never been there before and slightly intimidated by the atmosphere I didn't understand all the different ways to choose...your basic cone and tub options were not available but for fancy titles. For the simple people like myself I would have liked either a good visual representation or a friendly member of staff who would be on hand to explain. Instead it was a sullen member of staff who went to serve me then stopped, turned yo another person and said "you can serve them" and walked off. Obviously the great big zit on my face must have put them off but you don't get decent zits without sampling the delights of shops like this one! So, person who served me didn't seem impressed at suddenly having to serve me so when I asked what a Magic cone was I felt stupid when it was explained it was just a chocolate dipped waffle cone with ice-cream. I ordered the cone with the yummy snickers ice-cream and stood further along. Someone shouted something, everyone looked at each other, no one knew what was said or who it was aimed at until the person behind the counter who was unloading stock shouted at me "that's your ice-cream". I came forward waiting and realised not only was it a good portion of ice-cream but also I could have toppings and sauce plus a dinky little cone on top. As lovely as the ice-cream was, it is expensive. I would say, go and immerse yourself in the experience. I will add, the quality of the ice-cream is delicious and the decor is fantastic but just not quite what I expected or as many sweets. Yes, I am very acquainted with my dentist but well worth it! Staff could be a little more friendly and not assume everyone understands your business lingo as my magic cone was only magic after I received it and made it disappear! 😋 Overall 3 stars but based on staff and expectations. Quality of ice-cream fab but convoluted way of ordering without clear...

Read moreNEVER GO HERE- ESPECIALLY IF YOU ARE BLACK OR MIXED RACE. THEY DO NOT VALUE YOU! RACIST INCIDENT! Visited on 15 July 23 for my niece's 5th bday and sadly encountered a blatantly racist staff member. I will NEVER visit this place again after a truly horrendous experience there. We purchased ice creams and pic n mix sweets for our 4 (black and mixed race children) and the boy that served us did not offer our children a free lollipop, although he had given one to every single child before and after us in the queue. We called him out on it and asked why he had declined to offer them one. He lied and told us there were no more, then said he was only giving them away as they were broken, then said that the lollies we could see on the table (which he had offered for free to children before us) were not complimentary. Instead he went into a box under the table and produced one that was broken and falling apart. He told us that was all he had left. 1 broken lollipop to share amongst 4 children. When I demanded to speak to a manager, he quickly dived back under the same table and miraculously found a large box with lots more lollipops, and had the cheek to smirk and say, oh I have more. We were disgusted!! The ONLY thing separating our children and the others he had shown kindness to was their skin colour. The manager on shift (woman- didn’t catch here name) was super unhelpful and instead of listening to our concerns, she brushed them off, denied them, excused his racist behaviour because he was on 'work experience' and apologised to HIM. She apologised to him when he was the one who had been racist towards children. Make it make sense!!!! Her customer service skills were far below par and she is not nearly qualified to run a business. She pulled the ‘I’m mixed race’ card and failed to explain what that had to do with the situation. From where I was stood, it was irrelevant. If you are a person of colour, DO NOT SPEND YOUR HARD EARNED MONEY IN THIS SHOP! They do not value...
