Really disappointing experience, I will not be returning. I booked an area for 10 guests for my birthday in February, when I arrived there were other people sitting in my area and the staff didn’t really seem to care. I had pre paid for 3 bottles of Prosecco but the staff were not aware of this either until I asked where it was, they had to check the booking sheet first. I then had to bring my own bottles of Prosecco to my table. I guess I was expecting a staff member to bring it to my table or at the very least the bottles to be ready at the table otherwise I wouldn’t have pre paid for it in advance, I might as well of just waited until I got there before ordering anything at all. I also paid a £40 deposit to secure the table, unfortunately I didn’t redeem this on the night and was hoping they would refund this back to me. When I emailed to kindly ask for a refund, they said they would email the venue and get back to me. After over 2 weeks of no reply I emailed again and was told that the venue had said I’d used my deposit on drinks that evening. I disputed this and said I’ve got all my card transactions which proved I paid for all my drinks that evening and asked for proof on what drinks my deposit was redeemed on. The venue has still not gotten back to me as I’m writing this review. I work in hospitality myself so I understand the struggles and hate to complain or leave a negative review but I feel like I have no other option at this point. I will never return to this bar or any of their other branches and I will be warning all my friends...

Be At One on Wimpole Street was once a venue where we felt safe and welcome; a place we looked forward to visiting. Unfortunately, that changed this evening.

After spending our time and hard-earned money enjoying what should have been a celebratory night, the lights came on and we were singled out as the group to be ushered out with the assistance of security despite several other guests still present in the venue. At first, one might assume this was standard closing procedure. However, what followed made it clear that we were being treated differently.

To my shock, I was followed into the toilets by a bouncer. Meanwhile, other guests who remained inside after us were allowed to leave calmly and without interference or pressure. The contrast in treatment was blatant.

At no point were we disruptive or a problem to the establishment. Yet the way we were handled was unwarranted, heavy-handed, and deeply disappointing. I cannot help but feel that discrimination played a role in how we were treated. It’s disheartening to know that, in 2025, this kind of behaviour still exists in public spaces.

What was once a place of joy for us has now become a symbol of exclusion. I will not be returning to Be At One...

Absolutely disgusted with the treatment of me and my friends. We were a group of 10 20-22 year olds, going out for a 21st birthday party at 8pm on a Friday. We got ID'd twice, once by the bouncer (completely fair enough) but almost immediately after we'd sat down by a very rude bar tender with lots of tattoos - who scratched our IDs and studied them like they were fake. When we asked for the 2-4-1 drinks on the app we got told it was over and then told off for not saying it was on the app sooner. I also asked for a strawberry bellini but they told us they had no strawberries so I asked for a mango bellini. The bartenders rolled their eyes at each other and reluctantly said yes. Some of my other friends asked for a aperol spritz and were told they didn't have any prosecco left which left me confused as my mango bellini was supposed to have prosecco in. As I saw them make my drink I saw they put soda water from a can into it and when I asked if it had prosecco in it they lied and said yes. My drink tasted like watered down mango. Terrible service would give 0 stars if I could. Why was my money no more important than anyone else's? Will NOT be coming back or...

Had an incredible night at be at one bar on Oxford Street, the staff was very efficient and friendly, the doorman made sure everyone was safe especially upon arrival and leaving too. The atmosphere inside the bar was absolutely incredible, the music was amazing, not a single song played that I didn't like and the cocktails were beautiful. I didnt know what to try so I went with the bar managers recommendation and she hit the spot perfectly, she asked me a couple of questions on what I like and literally picked out the perfect cocktail. I had a table reserved for the night and my table was ready when I arrived, the area was clean and tidy, not sticky tables in sight. The bathroom was clean too and the floors were dry! The downstairs bar was closed but... when I went the toilet I did snap a pic because I thought the bar looked gorgeous. I would 100% recommend this bar, we went here for a few drink. After seeing Wicked the Musical and it was petfect to end the night. Thanks for an awesome night Be At One!!!

The experience here was great, not too many people, the right music at the right volume, clean furniture and no sticky tables. Very nice setting. The cocktails were nice, particularly the Swedish Spring punk - I love rhubarb. Although watch your wallet, as it's easy to get carried away like I and buy more cocktails than you can handle as they're so good. If there's one comment of improvement, then that it would be nice for cocktails to be served a bit faster as the wait was a bit, but then again - that's probably a good thing to help the cocktail kick in before you start ordering more .

Last night we attended the Be at one at Oxford street we was greeted with a rude grizzly bear of a staff member who was so rude you would have thought he worked in a prison. He threw the card machine at our friend group as he was to interested in 2 girls on crutches probably about his level. He then proceeded to not give us the £25 tab bill so that made the night even worse. If he is front of staff he will scare all the customers. If you see this guy working behind the bar run a mile. Apart from that the bouncer who looked like pep was very friendly and rest of the staff were nice.
