Back again. Was craving for their Spaghetti alle Vongole Ordered: Selection of olives Squid Ink Risotto Spaghetti alle Vongole Mezzi paccheri ai fruit to de mare Fritto Misto venexian French beans Gnocchetti fritti Good food and great service. Favourites were risotto, spaghetti Vongole, Fritto Misto and the Gnocchetti fritti. Food arrived promptly. Acceptable priced portions. Never disappoints. Previous visit: Ordered: Baccala’ mantecato - whipped salted cod on white polenta Spaghetti alle Vongole - Vongole just cooked, pasta al dente - good flavours Fritto Misto Venexian - the seafood just cooked, good crispy batter but does not stay crispy for long French Beans - lightly salted, still crunchy Wild Rocket with Parmesan Salad Gnocchetti fritti - a must if you have a sweet tooth Good food and great service. Well priced portions.

Best Italian restaurant in central London. Is always a pleasure to go back to 2 Veneti . Food was excellent as usual ; as a starter we shared Moscardini stew, Aubergine parmigiana and baccalà with polenta , all 3 really yummy. For my main I had the Seabream with spinach clams and saffron which again taste delicious and fish was just cooked to perfection. Good selection of wine to choose from , we had a caraffe of lugana as my friends were “not drinking” , turned out the wine tasted good as well so they had a glass too . A warm welcome followed by an attentive, professional service makes this little restaurant a total Gem . If you are in central London is well worth a visit. Really enjoyed dinner and my guests loved it too , thank you

I was looking for a low-key venue in the Marylebone / Wigmore Street area for a business meeting and spotted 2 Veneti on Google Maps. After a bit of background research on Google reviews and TripAdvisor I thought it looked good and went ahead and booked a table. The venue is light and airy and not too crowded - it was perfect for a business meeting. Overall I enjoyed the visit, the food and the ambiance and thought it offered good value. However, I was a little shocked that the Pinot Patricia red wine was £53 (!) per bottle (we asked for a recommendation on the wine and this was selected - I don't know whether one of my party saw the price or just selected it !) I'll definitely visit again - but will be more careful selecting wine!

2 Veneti in Marylebone does tasty Italian food and combines it with a matching wine list and friendly service.

On a warm evening, I walked into Italian restaurant 2 Veneti in the heart of Marylebone and soon was given some good bread with olive oil and balsamic vinegar - just as you would expect from a decent Italian place.

Looking through the wine list, I decided to go for something special - an Italian sparkling wine, spumante, produced like a champagne. It was a great dry and fresh wine, excellent to kick off my little dinner.

As starter, I ordered the wild rocket, pear & parmesan salad with balsamic dressing. Personally, I could have done with a little bit less rocket. The pear was really refeshing and overall it was a delicious dish.

Moving on, I went for "bigoli in salsa d’anatra", kind of like thick spaghetti with duck ragout. It was a lovely and light plate of food with a beautiful duck flavour and a tasty sauce. On top of that, the food went very well together with my sparkling wine.

Unfortunately, none of the desserts sounded really interesting, so I left without a dessert.

2 Veneti does delicious dishes and offers a good wine list. Its central location makes it a great destination for dinner, for example before going to a concert at nearby...

When we arrived I asked for the table with the heater and they were going to "check" and a second after a person from the table next to us when directly and sit and they say to me "it's nos available anymore" that was very rude, there was no light and nothing to be warm in the table we were sit, additionally when one of the tables with heater got free, they took it away instead of offering to us (since we asked for it at the beginning) another thing we ask for the bread sticks "home made fresh out of the oven" they were old and cold (and not because of the weather, they were already cold), the older waiter was very rude when we asked for the recommendation "everything is good" in a very displicente way, the food was neither good or bad, not worth what I was paying (between 13 - 15 quid), to add to the mix, they were closing and putting everything away like other tables and chairs while everyone was still eating, very unprofessional, the only reason I putted 2 stars is because by a miracle they remembered that it was a birthday and sent us a sort of tiramisu on the house, but in general a very bad experience, I...

I pre booked this place for a staff dinner for 11 people.

On arrival, we were seated on an 8 people table. Everyone had to squish in. The staff advised they couldn’t add another table as they had 2 other bookings - (that’s not our problem so not sure why I need to know this!)

Not a great start !

I had booked this place at least a month in advance for them to accommodate us.

Atmosphere - cosy

Staff - friendly

Occasion - staff dinner

Vibe - better suited for date night

Service - I felt I was being rushed to order the starter when we hadn’t even ordered drinks yet. I advised the staff for us to order the drinks first.

Food - the food was great! The chef was able to accommodate the vegetarians. I had a truffle pasta which tasted delicious and also a burrata. The dessert I had was pistachio dough balls with ice cream which was my fav!

Overall I would come back here again, but I’d hope a better experience and certainly not bring my...
