Definitely not a baby friendly place. I’m so shocked how we were treated- I stopped by with a 5yr and a 10mths old baby after playing in the playground nearby, as I didn’t bring baby food with me, I brought a box of blueberry next door and thought to have that as the baby’s lunch. I ordered 2 main dishes and a cookie for me and 5yrs, but the waiter told me that I can not have blueberries in their place, despited that they don’t have baby food, I told home that 10months baby can’t eat normal food as they don’t have teeth (at least mine hasn’t) and can not eat that much salt, he insisted that they do “kids menu” with lasagna etc (?!?!?!) obviously he has no baby and had no idea what a baby is. I can’t just let the baby staring at us so I gave him a few berries still and let him grab, and one berry fell on the floor, the waiter came and pick it up and bring the berry in front of me -blaming me that the baby drop food on the floor- and said “that’s the reason I told you not to have it inside, I DID TELL you so”. I mean that’s how babies eat, it’s a shame that one has no common sense and blaming me not to pick up dropped food piece fast enough!? Having eating out with babies in the last 5yrs, never had anyone treated us with no common sense. With me having 2 children alone, my 5yrs was already frighten with all these, I don’t want to stress them more, so I said nothing, I wish I could give 0 stars but the system doesn’t allow me. Have a good day

In short, staff seems inexperienced, they need to better organise/train and improve the quality of food and drinks to justify their prices. Food 1) filo was dry and overfilling, asparagus were not properly cooked, overall plates look good but overpriced (£13 for a filo pastry + 2 small salad portions) 2) « island garden » breakfast is identified as « eggS » and other stuff on the menu, but only got 1 egg - when asking to the staff we were told « eggs is eggs » - not sure what that meant... Coffees: Regular capuccino served to me had a burnt taste. Large americano was smaller than regular cappuccino, and dit not taste great either. Service: I was asked 3 times to confirm my order. My drink and food arrived after drink and food ordered after me. Waiters were constantly looking who ordered what, walking next to a table and asking « did you order that ? » We also saw a few people getting different food from what they ordered

Delicious menu, and a relaxing cafe to come and enjoy a hot and/or healthy breakfast/brunch, coffee and a cake, or lunch. We popped in mid afternoon, well after the lunch rush, to order a takeaway coronation chicken baguette and a coffee. We were waiting for 15 minutes for the baguette, which arrived packaged up in a box with salad and crisps. As we had planned to eat it on the go, and not realising it would be packed as a meal, it would have been good had they asked if we wanted it as a meal, or just rolled up in foil or something - without the crisps and side salad. We visited again and had a very good breakfast - shaksuka eggs and a ham & cheese omelette and weren’t waiting too long, despite it being very busy. It’s safe to say everything on the menu exceeds expectations - large portions, beautifully presented, most things come with a side salad or small fruit salad, and plenty of toast with breakfast dishes.

1star because I can’t give 0. Myself and my sisters stopped at this coffee shop as we walked back from Greenwich cutty sark after attending the Greenwich dog show. We’re all coffee connoisseurs’ and love finding new coffee spots. We spotted this coffee shop not long after exiting the foot tunnel and stopped to get a coffee. Absurdly only 2 of us were able to order. When we wanted to place the order for the third drink we were told they stop serving hot drinks at 5.45pm, we had arrived at the shop at about 5.30pm knowing they close at 6. Just before making the 3rd order a customer they had served came back complaining and as you would, we let her go ahead and they saw this but somehow insisted they couldn’t serve hot drinks after 5.45pm and so couldn’t take the 3rd order. There were no signs advising that the last order for drinks had to be made by 5.45, when I asked were I could see that in writing the waitress got louder and said it’s what management have told them. From the looks of things management would be the older lady in the back making the drinks. Given, that we all came in together and they only served 2 of us I can say we will never be returning, nor will we be making recommendations. We’re not from London and we were wanting to discover a new coffee experience, we absolutely regretted not going to ole and steen at Greenwich instead. The coffee was rubbish, customer service rubbish. I believe this establishment has preferential treatment to people from certain ethnicity groups and are unwelcoming and hostile to those from other backgrounds to say the least. I most definitely will not...

I would never be back. I have been buying my morning coffee in this place almost everyday but yesterday I have had the worst experience in my life. I met with a friend to go for a walk with our dogs, we were cold and I suggested to pop in for a bit and warm up in this place. We went inside with the dogs and we ordered our coffees. Once we have paid the girl told us to wait outside for the coffee. I let her know that we were going to have our coffees inside what she told me that it was impossible because they do not accept dogs. I asked her why she didn't let us know before we have ordered and paid our coffees as they did not have any signs outside that they do not allow dogs. She decided to not answer me, gave me her back and called the manager. When he approached me speaking. I tried to explain him that maybe they need to let their customers know before they have ordered that they can't have their drinks inside with dogs. He was really rude and he asked me to shut up and listen because it was his place and he was speaking. I was in shock,I decided to leave the place without saying anything else. I have been going to this place to order my coffee before I was going to the office many times a week. But I will never be back again. I have never been treated like this. Totally...
