Visiting on a Sat morning. Love the atmosphere. The colour combination with the plants work very well and making it very cozy. If I could rate 4.5 for for food, that’d be better. The almond croissant was AMAZING especially when they warmed it up. The fillings are with right portion of sweetness and it’s with rich almond flavor. 5/5 for this. But the matcha latte isn’t as perfect merely judging by the colour of it. It’s with a more grassy taste and the powder isn’t as fine. I guess it’s a culinary matcha instead of ceremonial matcha judging by the colour and taste of it. So 3/5 for that. I hope they can source another matcha powder and it will certainly enhance the taste of it. Will come back for the view, atmosphere and almond croissant for sure. And the best thing is that…they are dog friendly!!!🥰

A real gem in the heart of Island Gardens. As a regular customer, I can honestly say Rotunda Café is one of the best things to happen to the Isle of Dogs in a long time. The café is beautifully kept, the food and coffee are consistently great (the Allpress double espresso and flat whites are top-notch), and the staff are absolutely lovely - friendly, welcoming, hardworking, and clearly take pride in what they do. In an area that often feels overlooked and underfunded, Rotunda Café brings warmth, care, and quality. I personally think it’s more than just a café, it’s a sign that our community deserves good things too. I hope more people support this place because it genuinely deserves to thrive. Every visit lifts my day, thank you to the team for everything you do and keep up the great work! ✨

I came across this place walking from Greenwich via the foot path tunnel onto the other side of the river. It’s situated in the Island Gardens park with a beautiful view of Greenwich university from your table. Super friendly service and the owner Gosia was especially attentive. I asked for a flat white but single and she brought it to my table with extra milk on the side in case it was too much milk for my liking. She had great menu recommendations too. I went with almafi sandwich on sourdough bread and it was delicious and tasted so fresh! The day was super cold & rainy and the atmosphere of the place welcoming and cosy. Do pop in when in the area.

A much-needed gem in the neighbourhood. This café has truly elevated the local area—finally, a spot that understands the importance of quality food, a calm atmosphere, and great views. Whether you're here for a morning coffee or a late afternoon Aperol Spritz (yes, they now serve beers and wines too!), it’s a consistently lovely experience.

The matcha latte and matcha cookies are standouts, and everything on the menu is clearly made with care. Prices are on the higher side, but fair considering the quality and in line with other options nearby. It's the only café of its kind in the vicinity, and it really fills a gap—ideal for both sunny and rainy days thanks to its cosy vibe.

Highly recommend if you’re looking for somewhere that brings a little more charm and quality to the...
