Came here once or twice, the place should be suitable for a workday (or the owner advertised it is). Many customer are on their laptop and sharing the table so me and my friends scattered around different tables. We then saw a spot that we can seat together, happily to share the table with others which other customers do the same. And then this staff (a lady) came to us agressively and ask us to leave the table for other people came in group. I then said that I would happy to share the table or she can guide us to a smaller seat. She did not be able to point out any other seats, but still want us to leave our seat and said "It is how it works now". she want us to leave the cafe immediately! I think we are just an ordinal customers who came here with a similar purpose with others - having some drink, food and get some of our laptop work done. But the attitude of the staff is quite agressive and personal. If the cafe is not suitable for the work then the owner shouldn't advertise it is. I would recommend other cafe if you want to be focus on your work comfortable and not...

The menu is thoughtfully curated, offering a mix of wholesome, plant-forward dishes and indulgent treats. I tried the avocado toast with dukkah and poached eggs – beautifully presented and bursting with flavor. Their house-made pastries and cakes are not to be missed either, especially the lemon and pistachio loaf, which was the perfect balance of zesty and sweet.

What really sets this place apart is the coffee – expertly brewed with rich, aromatic beans that showcase real attention to detail. The baristas are clearly passionate about their craft and happy to share recommendations.

Service was friendly, attentive, and relaxed – exactly what you’d want for a quiet brunch, a catch-up with friends, or even a solo coffee break with a book. It’s rare to find a spot that gets both the food and ambiance so right.

If you’re in London and looking for a serene, stylish café with genuinely great food and coffee, Cafe Botanical is...

this place is cute. BUT THE SERVICE?!?! HORRIBLE. one particular waitress who put me off coming here ever again! she was a middle aged woman who was working there and from the second she took my order for my coffee she was rude. i ahd asked her do i wait at the till for my coffee or go sit down and she immediately responded 'pay first and then we will see'. later on when my friend came to the cafe for the first time (keep in mind i was telling her how cute this place is) she was rude to her as well and forcing us to buy drinks when we had JUST finished our coffees. she needs to fix her attitude because i really enjoyed coming here but we will not be returning now. description of the woman: east asian/south east asian, black hair, ponytail and in black trousers and top, middle aged.

i hope this issue gets dealt with as i have seen other reviews saying the same thing or worse and its a shame because this cafe is...

Cafebotanical is a really lovely, cosy, spacious place that feels like an escape from the city's hustle. It has a relaxed vibe, with nice background music and a warm, welcoming environment. The chairs and armchairs are super-comfy to sit for hours. The staff team is absolutely wonderful, super friendly and nice to everyone :) The food during lunchtime is really good, and it is both healthy and tasty in my view. I see this place as a real hidden gem in the heart of London, perfect for a catch-up with friends, a business meeting, or a quiet moment to focus on your own work. It is definitely one of the nicest places I am aware of in central London!

The cafe is a great area to study in. Lots of seats, couches, tables. It's a pretty comfortable environment for meetings, interviews, and the pastries are not bad. Though it is hard to get seats purely from how popular this place seems to get during specific times in the afternoon. I was also pleasantly surprised to receive table service, where the staff bring your drinks or pastries to where you're sitting. I don't think many places in London have that.
