Asked one of the servers what the had that did not contain egg due to an alergy, she handed me a chicken and avacado wrap. I, fortunately, turnrd it over to check ingredients and low and behold it contained egg. I pointed this out and asked again which ones did not contain egg she looked at me like I was purple with green spots and had 3 heads followed by he responce of 'you have to read everything' in the tone that said 'go away I can't be bothered helping an awkward customer' when I asked about the allergy information folder she initially said there wasn't one. Upon telling her it was a legal requirement for all food outlets to have one and to produce it on request I got the eye roll and tut from her and she pulled the folder out flicked through it and said 'nothing, they all contain egg.' This was not true as there were clearly ones, by the charts, which did not.
I could no longer be bothered dealing with an employer who has no realisation how dangerous allergies can be and clearly had all the customer service ability of nurse Ratched. The deliberate handing me of an item which contains the exact thing I told her I was alergic showed a blatent disregard for customer and...
Read moreStopped to grab breakfast on the way to the train and opted for the egg mayo and tomato baguette and a coffee. The coffee is lovely. The baguette was in a bag abd when I went to eat it I found the egg mayo and tomato all over the inside of the bag not in the baguette. I hadn't been given any utensils or napkins so this was a challenge. As I was hungry I tried to use the bag to force the filling into the baguette and take a bite. I was met with an unexpected sweet flavour. This was due to what looked like a raisin in the baguette. There seemed to be several of them. Egg, tomato abd raisin doesn't really appeal to me. I was also unable to scoop any more filling back into the raisin filled bread. I have now given up and am looking for the cafe car on the train. First time that I stopped here (and I go through Eustom a lot) and seems like it wlll be the last. People were nice and coffee is good but at the end of the day I paid for food...

I asked for a regular cappuccino with oat milk and I asked to have it warm as I cannot have hot drinks due to medical problems. I got a super hot latte. I asked to throw some off and add cold milk ... you literally added a drop. I looked at the drink and showed you and asking (to make a point) if that was a cappuccino and you replied with an attitude that it is. I have been very polite and you truly did not deserve it. If I was your manager or supervisor, I will put you back on training. Both for learning how to make a cappuccino and for some soft skills ...
The almond croissant was nice though.
I would not recommend this place...both for the poor quality of the coffee and unprofessional behaviour...
