We absolutely loved this cafe in a church! What an absolute treasure. This is a working church with a busy and popular cafe within it. There were friends catching up, people working on laptops, tourists and locals. Lots of nice tables but you can also sit in the pews. We had coffee and cakes which were excellent. We brought a baby with us and the changing facilities were good, there was also a high chair. I let the baby have a crawl in the carpeted side chapel when she got bored, and she loved it. The beautiful church gives a lovely atmosphere which is quiet and peaceful but also very friendly and welcoming. It's so nice to see a working church with a thriving side hustle like this, and the two complementing each other. If I lived in London I would go here all the time. Can't...

The Bank of England - about 400 yards from you - has issued findings about coronavirus, and banknotes and coins. As we know, covid is mainly spread directly by droplets, but there was no plastic screen at the counter and the three staff members were not wearing masks. Spread by notes and coins is minimal. The City seemed quite depleted of people today. Can you afford to discriminate against cash? Don't forget that it is customers' cash that pays the wages...

Today, I was on the lookout for a place where I could have a coffee and work on my laptop, and I found Host Café, located within the charming church, offers a truly distinctive experience. The historical backdrop adds an enchanting touch to your visit.

However, during my visit, the cold was nearly unbearable. The constant draft caused by multiple open doors made it difficult to enjoy my time there comfortably.

Regarding the pricing, the policy of charging £10 beyond 1.50 minutes may not suit all budgets.

In all, Host Café is an exceptional spot that's well worth a visit. Just be sure to dress in your warmest layers for a truly...

One of the oldest church in London is now a host to an excellent cafe. You can come here with your laptop and work if you need a change of scenery or catch up with your friends. The cafe serves an excellent coffee and cakes and you can try their hot soup as well. Have you been to this cafe yet?
