CANT beat the aesthetics and taste of this coffee, look how pretty the takeaway cups are; you actually want to carry it around!
the coffee tasted significantly better in quality than mainstream/chain cafes
No seating here; stand and drink inside, or sit on the bench outside; hence the 3 stars for atmosphere
very clean interior
extremely attentive, pleasant, friendly staff who actually treat you like a person rather than another chore/customer in line
I got a piccolo, which is something you donât find in every coffee shop, itâs much more specialty in my opinion. I wouldnât get it again as itâs not my thing, Iâd go for an espresso next after seeing James Hoffmanâs YT Short on the caffeine content of Rosslynâs espresso!
I also tried their brown sugar cookie which wasnât too sweet but sweet enough to enjoy with a very bitter coffee and taste like a dessert. Definitely one the nicest cookies Iâve had!
I got their dark chocolate too, in front of the till. Not my favourite at all. Chalky, not smooth, does not melt ( you have to bite it until it eventually melts), and overall low quality. Donât...
Read moreGood coffee but slightly overpriced compared to premium coffees in the area like (in the order) Taylor's St, The New Black, Association, Curator's, Grind, ... People are nice but the price to value has to be improved as well as the time to get served. However, there also are some Danishes you can take away so you can treat yourself with a little guilty pleasure one the way.
Regarding the comment of the community manager, being the only place distributing a specific coffee doesn't mean it's good. I'm having my coffee grains from Taylor's or Square Mile who also provide premium and quality coffee. For a more detailed description, the coffee is good but very far from being the best. If you have the chance, there is a coffee place just meters away in the church nearby that's excellent and you can give a pound to offer a coffee to someone in need.
I hope you'll try this place and the others I've cited and then make your...
Read moreOne of the best coffee shops in the area. I popped in today for the first time, aiming to avoid the usual coffee shop chains. Firstly I should say the coffee is very tasty, clearly well made and of a high quality. What really made Rosslyn stand out though was the service and team working there. I was treated with a smile, warm banter, and its a lovely touch to have everyone's name (Starbucks style) but actually present the coffee with a "thank you [name]", all done quickly and with a smile âĄ
There isn't a huge amount of seating as very much targeted at the foot fall associated with the area, but the ambience is pleasant, clean and modern, as to be expected.
Coffee isn't cheap but frankly it's the same as any others in the area and I'd rather go here for the experience than any competitor!
I didn't eat but the small selection of pastries looks of a high...
