Coco di Mama - Italian To Go - Cheapside — Restaurant in London

Let me start by saying that both me and my wife have been in the hospitality business for years in a Senior Managerial level. Therefore we tend to be picky when it comes to the quality of the products and the overall experience. I also never publish reviews unless something has gone really great or really wrong. First time we have tried Coco di Mama this morning. Very cool interiors and concept with the self service ordering system. Excellent coffee, good food and nice range. But what made it all a 5stars experience for me was the young lady of colour who handed me the coffees. She has only specified which coffee was which and wished me a good day, but the way she said it made the difference. She has transmitted care, warmth and positivity with 2 simple sentences and I left feeling GOOD! Do you know how hard is it to find these kind of employees these days? I was roaming around St Paul, tasked with finding food for our group of tourists. After a poll, the conclusion was Italian. I must admit that was quite incongruous, I was expecting something like a fish and chips, but why not. So there was this shop named Coco Di Mama. It happens that my Mama is Italian so that was a match. The staff was lovely and the food actually good. Props to the manager (it's much easier to order food when the staff speak your language (French)) who was very helpful, we were quite lost at the beginning with all this choice. Horrible food! I regret every time i spend money here. Some one please tell me what do I do to break their garlic bread ? As I don’t really walk around with hand saw. its brick hard . Literally brick hard! it snaps ! I took it with me in train other wise I would go back. and the food is under the light quality, which Is confusing as I see the chef cooking infront of me.
