Nice Costa, refurbished recently, great feeling, no music sometimes, or at low level, which is great. Great external light with big glass windows. Unfortunately the wifi, that was not great (weak bandwidth) before refurbishment, is now even worse with a very weak wifi signal within the Costa. For a remote worker like me it is a no go. And tethering is difficult as 5g is weak also there, with EE, virgin (the one that I use). Too bad. So if you need network connection, avoid the place. For the rest it is good.

Nice place for local resident to drink coffee and easy snacks. Good sitting place with free WiFi and best place to drink tea and coffees. Outside sitting with good view of river Thames and Canary Wharf buildings . Public restroom. No free parking here. Ideal only for local residents. Neat and clean with cozy environment. You can go with family. It close around 6 and 7 in evening therefore not available for late sitting.

Unfortunately this is the worst Costa I have ever been in. Problem is in staff (mostly two people) which is very friendly buy they are so busy that they are rushing to make this coffees and You get watery milky drink with a bit of coffee flavour. You basically are paying for milk. Sorry for that

This is my local Costa I frequent often and this morning I had great service from a man with a bun, he described the drink to me perfectly and patiently when I asked what the Spanish Latte is. He also was super friendly, as the staff usually are.

I was sat outside for a bit and went back in (at 13:30 14/7/25) to ask for a bit of condensed milk they use in the latte, which you can’t buy so fair enough. It was a different staff member, he had glasses and black hair, not sure of his name. I then politely asked for a paper cup as my iced latte cup was too cold for me to hold. The staff member denied me saying the company loses money over a single paper cup, doesn’t really make much sense. He was quite rude and overexplained something about not being able to sell blah blah, fair enough but let’s be real. Are you really paid enough to care about giving a single cup away? He also said the store being overstocked in cups??

I also work in retail and people ask for free bags all the time which I am happy to give out as I’m not going to be investigated for such a simple ask, and I love being generous anyways.

But anyways, it just left a really sour taste on the rest of my day as he was really impolite, even though he gave the customers ahead of me a free glass of ice, considering it takes much more money to clean the glass, maintain the ice machine lol etc. So I don’t understand why a paper cup couldn’t be given.

5 stars to the rest of the staff whom I’ve seen frequently, and always serve my friends and I the best iced...

This is quite possibly the worst Costa I have ever been to. I would give zero stars if that were an option. Three young woman behind the counter. Chatting. Taking nearly 15 minutes to make 2 hot chocolate drinks. And getting one wrong. Every table is dirty, filled with plates and cups, napkins, food, spillages etc. Both inside and out. From many customers. People having to move crockery and rubbish aside to sit down. The place isn't even full, so cannot use the busy excuse, because it isn't. I cancelled my order in the end, asked for a refund, which took all three women to do it because they couldn't figure it out. I suggested instead of standing about nattering, maybe they could clear and clean the tables. Outside, where the tables are, there should be a bin, so those plastic coated cups and food wrappers, that are not cleaned up from the tables, don't pollute the nearby river and the pavements. With so much competition in Greenwich I am surprised this Costa is so shabby, dirty and ill managed. Not to mention it's down at the 'posh' end. The Waitrose end. Disgraceful. Don't go there. Use instead, one of the friendly, clean, family run places, which are probably the same price or in some instances, cheaper. Or even one of Costa's competitors, of which there are many within a...

Great coffee, good staff and nice atmosphere. All the opposite for the manager/supervisor ( She has black hair), she complains out loud about people staying in the shop with their laptop to make them feel uncomfortable. Maybe she wanted to be liked by the old people that she was talking with, or just frustrated with her job or even worst not happy with her job that she needs to complain about people making a living with their well paid IT skills. I'm a customer and i spend 6 pounds every day here as i like to work somewhere different than my home ( it helps me to be more focused), but i can't stand to feel like a weight when i spend here a lot every month and i'm actually supporting the business with my small...
