Dixy Chicken Hackney — Restaurant in London

Tried to get delivery and the guy hung up on me. I wanted to go in at 11:50. It wasn’t open despite opening hours being from 11:30. The guy was rude and nasty. I went in to get a takeaway and his young son who was behind the counter had to ask if I was going to get served. I ordered spicy chicken wings and when I got home I was disappointed to find that they are not spicy at all. Sad effort all round. Staff need to learn a telephone manner and realise how to give the customer what has been ordered.. if you don’t have something, don’t substitute something else without asking. I went in there to buy chicken and chips for my children I noticed the guy was not wearing gloves and touching food with bear hands after taking my money with the same hands , I asked him why you not wearing gloves he laughed and said I don’t have any gloves in the shop. I felt so sick I cancel the food. His hands was so dirty 🤮🤮absolutely disgusting, I’m pretty sure he did not washed his hands for the whole day, don’t think he knows what washing hand is. I had a great experience at Dixy Chicken! The food was fresh, hot, and full of flavor — especially the crispy chicken burgers and spicy wings. The staff were welcoming and served everything quickly, even during a busy time. The restaurant was clean, and the prices were reasonable for the quality.
