This place is such a rip-off! I’ve been a couple of times to grab a takeaway pasta box, which is usually under £10 – even though the pasta isn’t great and is always overcooked, which is disappointing for an Italian place.
I went back on a hot day and asked if they had any cold takeaway options. They showed me a selection of salads but didn’t mention anything about the prices. As someone started serving my box, he kept adding way more than I asked for – when I asked for just one spoonful of something, he gave me three. I asked for one slice of grilled courgette, and he put in two.
Then he charged me £18.50 for the box! I explained that I was confused because my colleagues and I come here occasionally – as our office is nearby – and we’ve always paid around £9 for the box. That’s when he finally mentioned that the salads are priced by weight.
I told him that he should have explained how it worked before serving the food – it honestly felt like a scam. He replied, “Well, now you’ve got food for two,” as if it was my fault for ordering too much – when he was the one who overloaded the box!
It was such a bad experience.
To top it off, the last time I went there, I ordered a hot pasta box. They reheated it in the microwave and handed it to me without a bag – it was so hot it burned my fingers. When I asked for a bag because it was too hot to carry, the man made a sexist remark: “That’s what happens when you have the hands of someone who types on a computer all day.”
They’re unprofessional, unfriendly, and sexist.
The food is barely average – they’re just lucky there aren’t many takeaway options...

OVERPRICED AS HELL. I bought lasagna layers and they gave me these old dusty boxes for £5,10 each. The same exact product (with the same origin) is £1,80 at Co-op (2 min walking from this place).
i asked for Besciamella and the box was so old and dusty that the ashamed cashier cleaned it before putting the product in the bag.
i don't think they are italian. The person serving me was barely speaking italian (i don't have any problem with that of course but don't greet clients in italian pretending fluency just to sound exotic and authentic).
Don't ever go...
Read moreGreat service and fresh food. Very impressed with the truffle and sausage pasta - it was to die for)m, as well as the super thick lasagna which has very generous portions. I was also amazed they had fresh yeast so if you like baking, you should also definitely buy the high quality eggs which come directly from Italy. You get what you pay for aside from the Fulham rent, but that’s not their fault is it!! Go to the kebab chain next door and ask them where they get their...
