Primavera hosted our wedding party and we couldn't have been happier with any aspect of it, from the service to the food and venue. Wish I could leave more than 5 stars! With COVID guidelines forcing us to change our wedding plans, the reception we had at Primavera was what really made the day.
All of our guests were excellently cared for and the restaurant's owner -- Dessi -- worked so hard to make the day special for us. She worked with us personally on the menu and arrangements. We had a number of vegetarians, vegans and guests with allergies or mobility issues, whom were catered for with no problems whatsoever. The team followed COVID guidelines even when these guidelines changed at the last minute!
The food is FANTASTIC. We had bruschetta sharing platters, baked Camembert and calamari starters for everyone, then everyone ordered a la carte. We requested a particular whiskey, which was supplied, and then the team served us our own wedding cake, making sure every guest had a slice with an icing rose on it!
The staff were super friendly, super efficient and super attentive. Each course was served perfectly with no waiting. They worked SO hard, I can't thank them enough.
Even though this was for a special event, we'll most likely be coming back on a regular basis because the...
Read moreFound this on the taste card app that at the time stated you can use the card on a Friday. Called to confirm this and booked a table. When we got to the restaurant we sat down and ordered drinks. When I asked how the taste card worked the waiter told me they don’t accept it, I explained I had just called up but he insisted I didn’t mention it when I most certainly had. I then showed him my app and how it outlined you could use it on a Friday to which he told me my app needed updating. He then got his phone and in-front of me changed their tastecard profile on his phone! His overall attitude was just so rude, I had never experienced customer service like it.
I am a local to Parsons Green and can assure anyone there are much better Italian restaurants to go to! To top it off, there was hardly anyone in the restaurant so no atmosphere at all.
The only positive thing I can say is the waitress who served up...
Read moreThis restaurant should have a sign on the door saying ‘Avoid at all costs if looking for a nice family lunch & your family includes a young child. Dogs welcome though’. The waitress was visibly annoyed that my toddler was walking around a liitle while waiting for the food. I was with the child at all times. I appreciate the restaurant is small and staff don’t want to accidentally pour hot coffee on the child, but they could be a little bit more kind and welcoming. At the end of the day, Parsons Green is meant to be relatively family friendly. I already asked for a bill half way through the lunch as we were not made feel welcome, and the waitress brough the bill faster than Usain Bolt. The bathroom is in the basement, with steep stairs, so again not cery convenient if you want to wash hands for yourself and toddler. The food was nice though and we liked the decor....
