Battersea Power Station Pier — Local services in London

Badly managed pier. We stupidly bought an all day pass for the Uber Boats not realising there are long long queues and boats turning you away as they are full. We had a lunch booked in Greenwich and needed to stick to schedule. We had been queueing a long time for the next boat after the first was full. We had almost boarded when a guy with about 8 or 9… 16-18 year olds marched down a different path spoke to one of the staff here and got on ahead of us. I challenged the staff member and he told me … families take priority??!! How one person can have so many adult kids around the same age and be considered a family is ridiculous. We had 2 get 2 busses to Greenwich. I’ll never do an Uber boat all day pass again and will certainly never use this pier or come to Battersea again. All that money developing the facilities and it gets ruined by a rude customer and weak...

The boat didn't stop at vauxhall, despite us being told on the jeti that it would. It was made worse by a quite aggressive member of staff who blamed us for not telling him we wanted to stop there?! He then lied telling us that the boat had stopped and an announcement had been made. He then vanished back into the staff room to hide. It was appalling, he actually made my young niece cry. On our way off the boat, the people around us that had heard approached us to tell us that we were completely right, it hadn't stopped and they heard no announcement! The boat had arrived late, so we figured they hadn't wanted to stop there, so didn't. It was meant to be a nice way to end a holiday, but we ended up rushing to catch a train with a bad taste...

Great place to hang out with friends or take a date, a couple of restaurants and local shops.

Lots of outdoor seating and updated water features.

An outdoor area that sits on a medium sized jetty (the coaling jetty) that changes with the seasons, from a small Christmas market in the winter to an outdoor cinema in summer. It offers a small shop that makes pizza and sells drinks with lots of tables and chairs.

Right next to chelse bridge with a santander station and Battersea power...
