My first time at Higgins, I was shocked to see coffee from El Salvador. Truly, the entire menu is a pleasure for coffee and tea drinkers. Over years I have purchased both as gifts and for personal use. The autumn blend tea has always been a well received gift in the UK and internationally. It has received royal recognition. In my estimation, I would say Higgins is the best tea and coffee shop in London, England, the UK. It is my favorite, so far, around the world. And it ships internationally as well. I believe the quality of the product here is wonderful because of the respect it must extend to its business partners to secure the best quality leaves and beans. I noticed El Salvador coffee was absent for several years. And conflicts in the country made it difficult to secure the quality it was accustomed to offering to its clients. It is back on the menu and thank you for turning to El Salvador again, which has one of the best coffee growing conditions in the world. The shop is beautiful!

Nestled in the heart of Marylebone, HR Higgins Café stands out as a gem for coffee enthusiasts and lovers of delightful pastries. The concept revolves around creating a warm and inviting atmosphere where expertly crafted coffee meets an array of delectable treats. During my visit, I had the pleasure of enjoying a perfectly prepared cappuccino that was rich, smooth, and aromatic—a testament to their dedication to quality coffee. Pairing it with a slice of their flavorful orange cake turned out to be an excellent choice. The cake was moist and zesty, offering a balance of sweetness and citrusy tang that was simply irresistible. With its charming ambiance and focus on quality, HR Higgins Café is a wonderful spot to unwind and indulge in some of London’s finest coffee and treats. Definitely worth a visit for anyone in the area.

This is 'the' coffee shop and coffee supplier. Located at 79 Duke Street W1 in London’s Mayfair, this is a coffee lovers' dream. The shop is split over two floors, and the ground floor has a takeaway service along with the shop where you can purchase from a range of distinct house roasts along with coffee accessories. The basement has a coffee bar. The interior of the shop is datk and sexy with staff who are both helpful and knowledgeable about coffee. The shop is supported by a website for those unable to go to the actual location. I highly recommend a visit and the Peru Inambari Fairtrade coffee. Coffee is sold by the 250 grams and can be either whole bean or ground to choice.

I cannot say enough good about this place! My husband and I went to H. R. Higgins twice while we were in London. The location takes up two floors. The first floor is where you can purchase coffee beans or ground coffee. They have a fantastic selection! Downstairs is the actual coffee shop. You can get there by going down the stairs outside or using the staircase inside. I had a latte and my husband had a cappuccino both times we went. The drinks were phenominal. Don't expect a large drink like you would get in America, but believe me, the size is perfect (though it's so amazing, you may need two). Plan to stay at least 15-20 minutes as it takes a few minutes for them to craft your drink, then you will want some time to savor it! They also offer a variety of breakfast and dessert items which vary day to day. We tried the almond croissant. It was melt-in-your mouth amazing! We bought two pounds of coffee beans to take back to America. If you miss this place, you will be missing out on the best coffee...

Ordered my wife the Bialetti moka express along white the Rhino grinders for her birthday which was posted out promptly however having received the goods I found the box for the Bialetti opened but worse than that it has clearly been used including coffee stains and the grinder has a dented side. I have contacted the supplier which to be fair tried to contact me back and I missed the call however I have since tried 8 or 9 times and they won’t answer so I rang the shop which basically said they could and would not help I need to contact the web orders (which aren’t answering) to resolve.

Terrible service from a supposed well known brand that clearly isn’t being sent from the shop that you see on the website.

I can only assume that all the positive reviews are from people that haven’t had any issues for the company to put right. I shall persevere to resolve this and update the review if they deal...
