The food was particularly nothing special. It was £25 for one piece of chicken breast and a sauce which to me is ridiculous considering the service was terrible with these prices. You would at least think the service would be up to par but all we had was rudeness throughout our stay. We had a table booked for 1030 when we got there there was empty tables but they told us our table wasn’t ready yet, so we stood for five minutes waiting for our table. We then got seated in the back room and they came and offered us water and we asked for tap water And then after 10 minutes of us being sat they moved us to the other end of the restaurant we hadn’t asked for this. once being seated a waitress came up to us and said you only have 20 minutes to order so you’re gonna have to be quick bear in mind we hadn’t even been given a menu so we asked for a menu once we got our order taken we suggested do we need to order our desserts now as well or can we do that after the lady said he can do it after we proceeded to eat our meals and then halfway through she came up to us and said can you order desserts now? I ordered the cookies my friend ordered the cake And then we proceeded to wait for 10 to 15 minutes longer. The lady came up to us after this time and said are we don’t have the cookies bearing in mind we ordered them ages ago and had been seeing these cookies go out to other customers it was particularly frustrating because the cookies are the only reason I booked this restaurant with that the waitress told us will give you the other desert free and you can share I didn’t get offered any other desert or to see the menu again. The whole experience was disappointing. The service was terrible. We even got charged for bottled water on our bill at the end when we only had tap And it took them an extra 10 minutes to sort that out but then they were trying to push us out the restaurant because it was so late they have these bookings available on the website but try and push you out when they’re finished. I don’t know why they have these times available if they don’t want to serve at these times or if there were not food at these times It’s just embarrassing overall I would not down there again. It’s overpriced unprofessional and unorganised. Very disappointing. (All the sides you have too for separately) Clearly This restaurant is trying to be something it isn’t.

Where do I begin. I had booked this restaurant excitedly for my birthday. I had extreme high hopes considering it was in a prestigious area such as Mayfair. I had seen so many reviews and videos which enticed me even more so to book. Prior to my arrival I had called the restaurant to enquire about bringing my own birthday cake for me to enjoy. I was told that there was no cake policy at all however they were happy to store my cake. I accepted. Once I arrived I was told that I could not store my cake and I had to thoroughly explain my conversation to a member of their staff about what I was told. Already this had wasted some time and took away from the happy occasion. The food however, I could not fault. It was delicious. Full of flavor , 10/10. After being told that I could not have the cake or eat the cake at the restaurant , it was to my surprise to see a gentleman walk towards with the cake. It made me incredibly happy that they had swayed the rule for this particular occasion. However, I was quickly horrified to see that my cake was actually being walked towards a different direction and towards another table in which they processed to sing happy birthday to another table. I was so shocked I couldn’t even say anything . My friend waited till they where finished to approach them and tell them they got it wrong and then they re did the whole experience for me, but by then I was already embarrassed and disheartened. I had spent allot of time on that cake and effort for myself to be able to enjoy. We asked them if we could actually have a slice for the inconvenience and they said yes , but then when it was brought to me they said we couldn’t eat it! After I had already cut two slices. We spoke to the manager who was lovely ! Who then allowed us to eat the cake. All in all my experience was tarnished, with poor , inaccurate communication which lead me to not even want to want to eat my cake in the end. On top of all of this in was not even given a discount for the inconvenience or any type of compensation. It was such a shame considering I highly enjoyed the food and would have loved to re visit however after this experience , I doubt I will.

We came for a celebratory dinner, and it was the worst service we’ve ever experienced. The waiter came to take our order but seemed completely out of it, like she wasn’t listening at all. She then came back to take the order again, which is fine, mistakes happen.but when we asked her to repeat the order to confirm, she insisted she had already gotten it right. So clearly, she never actually took the order the first time. We waited 20 minutes just to place our order, and then another 30 minutes before we could even order dessert. It felt like the restaurant was understaffed and overwhelmed. To make matters worse, when clearing the table, one of the staff dropped a used fork directly into the pasta plate that had just arrived. They then picked it up with their bare hands and touched the food without offering a proper apology. We had to go to the host stand ourselves to pay, and only after we complained did anyone apologize. To be fair, the food and the kitchen were great, but from a service point of view, and I say this as someone who has worked in the industry, it was a truly disappointing experience. It wasn’t just one server; the overall service was slow, careless, and borderline aggressive. For the price you’re paying, this is absolutely unacceptable. We spent over £300, and while they did deduct the waters and the cookie dessert, it still came to over £200. Definitely not worth it if you want good service.

Had a booking for me and the Mrs for 6 o’clock , Arrived at 6 and made to wait standing at the door for 12 minutes until our table was set up. I would usually be understanding if they were busy but there was at least 10 tables of 2 free.. Not thinking much of this we proceeded to order and wait for starters. We ordered bread which took almost 20 minutes to arrive with both of our starters. I think bread should always be served straight away maximum within 7-10 minutes from ordering , also for the restaurant it’s better, so they can upsell more by not bringing everything at once and stuffing your guests..also bread was on the burnt side making the baguette not enjoyable to eat. Anyway calamari was nice not rubbery at all , tuna tartar was very mellow , nothing special or new. Moving on to the mains , I had the burger which was decent , on the other hand the fries were so disappointing. Burnt like the bread and just kept in oil for too long, nothing worse than frier oil taste soaked into over cooked chips, Mrs had the pasta and it was okay, you could tell that the morels were frozen unfortunately. Dessert we had the cookies and ice cream , it was very nice. Over all the service felt very rushed , as soon we had our last bites from our plates they were immediately taken off the table, even the butter on the plate was taken while I was finishing the bread on my plate, I had to kindly as to keep as we weren’t done, I also felt like we had too many waiters coming and disturbing our meal, for a place like this when you’re serving fried calamari and things you don’t need to over complicate the service attendance , designate one person to each section and let them look after the people. The decor and the inside of the restaurant is absolutely stunning. I loved what the owners have done with the place it’s just a shame the food nor service matched the reputation of both the decor and the interior of this beautiful restaurant. Safe to say I will not...
