Okay, Where do I start🤔🤔🤔? 1 star experience‼️ You know me by now I don’t hold back. I was so disappointed. This is meant to be BIG Harrods Cafe and I don’t know if this Harrods cafe was A ploy too attract unassuming tourists with this brand, must be. For someone like me, an experienced internationally respected London food critic standards on show were below PAR (regarding the food, not the service). SEATING WAS IMMACULATE THEY GAVE US THE BEST SEATING BUT THE FOOD OOOOH dear THE FOOD was so disappointing. After I had expected so much from Harrods Cafe. Now, Tiffany’s downstairs (ground floor) was an impressive experience (that even I’d recommend) and I’ll do a review on Harrod Tiffany experience another time but Harrods Cafe your staple brand was dire. No French Toast on the menu ok fine instead your signature I REPEAT SIGNATURE BRAFFLE (For those that don’t know that is meant to be Harrods unique play on a WAFFLE//Brioche combination As your base! Wow that was painful. My 5&6 year old nieces would not accept that. Simple scrambled eggs on sourdough bread was alarmingly bad and you know I like to test the simple things just to see if that can at least be done right and it wasn’t! But again seating was great, I’m sure Harrods will hustle loads more tourists and Instagramers with this Harrods Cafe title but people this was bad. The French Toast connoisseur has Spoken. And remember Harrod does have a variety of restaurants and dining experiences throughout And they are all different. It is a luxury mall at the end of the day so Tiffany’s Harrods experience review will be coming soon, and before you ask no this is not my first time, but in fact my third and that should...

The crème brûlée was undercooked, egg was such a prominent flavour to the point of which it was sickly and I could not finish it. The crème brûlée had no crack to the top- it was like the fridge-packaged crème brûlées you can buy off refrigerators in supermarkets… with the addition of a little chocolate Harrods plaque.
The Russian honey cake was far too dry. Could not finish.
Lemonade was watered down, you can make far better at home or just pop over to Ramsay’s for their house lemonade. Miles better.
Iced coffee beverages are nice, nothing special.
Servers weren’t very attentive to needs, and we were waiting on the bill for a very long time. Waiters and waitresses seemed to be chatting away whilst we waited.
The atmosphere is extremely rushed, there was barely any privacy as ongoing shoppers can see every morsel of food you ordered, and they can stand there gawking into the inside of the cafe. Very uncomfortable. Families waiting in a queue crowded the till and their little kids were running into the cafe which was frustrating.
Overall not a Harrods experience and I am extremely let down. Do not recommend this cafe whatsoever- go anywhere else, London has spectacular cafes, albeit some may be overpriced ones, but this is not it. This is simply overpriced and rubbish.
Oh there’s also numerous sneaky charges on the bill. Aside the service charge, there’s a few other standalone £1 charges which amounted to an extra fiver onto our bill for nothing.
Actually have deep regrets spending...
Read moreHarrods Café is, without a doubt, the best café I’ve ever had the pleasure of visiting! From the moment you step inside, you can immediately sense the luxury and elegance of the place. Every detail, from the décor to the service, exudes sophistication and makes for an unforgettable experience. It’s truly the kind of place that elevates the simple act of enjoying a meal or drink into something special.
One of the standout highlights has to be their scones these are absolutely not to be missed! They arrive warm and fresh, straight from the oven, and are served with thick, rich clotted cream and delicious jam. The best part is that you can fill them however you like, allowing you to create the perfect combination of flavors in every bite. They’re simply divine fluffy on the inside and perfectly golden on the outside.
Beyond the scones, the menu offers a wide selection of high-quality teas, coffees, and other treats, all served with impeccable attention to detail. The staff are professional, friendly, and attentive, making sure you have everything you need to fully enjoy the experience.
If you’re looking for a luxurious, relaxing spot to unwind while indulging in some truly exquisite food and drinks, Harrods Café is the place to go. It’s an experience I highly recommend, and I’ll definitely be returning for more of those irresistible...
