What a fantastic experience! After purchasing a Hawksmoor at home Chateaubriand box (please bring them back!!) as a gift, a visit to a Hawksmoor location was always going to be a must! Did not disappoint - upon entering a small but chic entrance reception, you descend a flight of stairs leading to a Art Deco style cocktail bar - the sour cherry negroni is a must - my partner enjoyed a Vespa martini and our friends enjoyed Dry Daiquiris…recommended by the skilled mixologist behind the bar. We were seated at an ample table for four. Starters of Fillet Cappacio, Crab toast and Old Spot Belly Ribs all arrived…total immersion ensued! The ribs, served with a fresh slaw jewelled with coriander and mint, we’re rich and tender. We followed with Surf and Turf - a fillet steak and half a lobster…a monumental feast of a dinner - I paired mine with the triple cooked chips, creamed spinach and garlic mushrooms…a wonderful combination linked by the anchovy hollandaise…a different but perfect sauce from my enormous medallion of meat. We washed it all down with a Chianti from the wine list. The only feedback I can offer at this stage is that our mains arrived a little too soon after the starters - just a note. Waistbands popping, i decided to order a box of 12 salted caramels to go…a lovely take away. The service, food and experience were to die for - Just go there - best steak in the UK!

Hawksmoor has become a household name...never disappointed. Great location (about 10mins walk from Harrods departmental store) Always fully booked so ensure you book your travel before you arrive at the restaurant. Phone network is not great here as restaurant is at the basement. Lovely lovely decor, the staff are friendly and have a great sense of humour 😀 Food is superb, couldn't fault anything! Highly recommended...pained though that burgers have been removed from the menu, loved them to bits. I recommend the chocolate anglaise if you enjoy chocolate desserts, their Caesar salad has anchovies in them which is quite weird 😅 but still tasty nonetheless (refer to pictures for the dishes we had) Toilets on point, parking is not really great in Knightsbridge so just jump on the tube... It has the feel of a nice upgrade English pub. I have been to 2 different Hawkmoor restaurant and both have wowed me. Not a large menu but great tasting food...the food prices are relative as some may think pricey whilst others may think just great standard. I would visit again and again and also try the other restaurants in the chain ❤️

Food, especially steaks were excellent. Done just right. This is my second visit. Presentation is the same, minimalist and let's you focus on the food. Service, as always, was attentive and responsive. Friendly and warm too. Waited a bit too long as the cloakroom guy was on the phone attending to someone trying to make up their mind on a booking which took 10 long minutes. Tried to bypass but was not allowed to, even though the rest of my party was already there. I've always found this place a bit noisy. This visit, I experienced the full house noise level. Not pleasant. Hard to talk. But no one was rowdy, just noise levels were unacceptably high. Another not so pleasant point was that the tables were all so close to each other, guests and wait staff were bumping into me every so often to get by.

We popped here for a "date night" dinner. Great place and atmosphere. Earlier in the night expect more of a family vibe, later on is when the couples begin to arrive. Service is as expected: top notch. Steaks were good, but will have to shy away from 5* as the steak was cooked unevenly: 1/2 of it seemed medium while 1/2 seemed rare - I'd expect evenly cooked from a place like this. For the sides The triple cooked chips were not cooked property: some were perfect but some were still raw. The creamed spinach was perfect, though. Drinks were again good, and I am a fan of the 1 big ice cube - it melts slower (few places do this). The Manhattan probably needs a little refinement but the Old Fashioned was up with the best. For the location/price/hype I have to say I'd expect just a tad better.

First time visit to the Knightsbridge Hawksmoor having been to Air Street and Guildhall previously and was not disappointed. First the waiter was very welcoming and took our orders and kept in touch with us. For starters we had the crab and prawn cocktail, the crab was delicious but the bread was tough and took some cutting whilst the prawn cocktail was well received. For mains some had the Chateaubriand and others the Fillet, all received their food as ordered mine being a little rare but was perfect. The accompanying wines proved a perfect match although only one bottle was available on my first choice but the sommeliers choice as a replacement was spot on. A very buzy restaurant and can be a little noisy but so be prepared. All in all l will certainly go again.
