Officially the worst poke I have ever had and possibly the worst meal I had in the last couple of years. I chose takeaway option hence it was impossible to complain or change the food. I will start with positive: a good amount of fish in my ahi poke. As for the negative: the food was drenched in soy sauce dressing which made it super salty and impossible to eat. There was no visible sign of Asian slaw that was making a half base of my poke ( although there were 2 strings of cabbage but I would not call it slaw). There was no sign of additional ingredients that I paid for. Chillies were not spicy. The place had such a strong smell of bleach that I had to wait outside for my order. My husband's poke was better. Avoid if you can

I go to Honi Poke at least once a week and they never disappoint. Everything is always super fresh and super quick. It does get really busy around lunchtime (especially between 12 and 1pm), so you might have to wait a bit longer then, but outside those hours it’s usually very calm and efficient. The staff is always friendly, and the place is really clean – which I love. I also really like that I can watch them prepare the food right in front of me. And the self-order kiosk is such a plus! I much prefer ordering through the machine – it’s faster and I don’t have to explain my order out loud. Overall, it’s a great spot for a quick, tasty, and healthy meal in central London.

The salmon pokeritto was delicious. I love the sriracha mayo and the salmon itself. Plus the sushi rice is seasoned and cooked really well. The price is a bit steep for the pokerittos (£8+) especially factoring in the estimated protein and calories being only around 10-13g protein and <500kcal. You’re mostly getting rice, a bit of vegetables and a spicy mayo. And some roasted seaweed. I think salmon avocado would be nice in the default salmon pokeritto as well but I didn’t see that option. Sushidog is the same level.

This place everything for a fast food takeaway poke bowl restaurant, I say that because the seating area is tiny, unless you want to sit on the chairs in the street.

The place is clean and the service lovely and personable.

The menu is good, but the lack of one simple workload makes it more complicated and confusing than other poke places.

Also the touch screens are infuriating, I have never used one that is so inresponsive to touch. I tried 3 of the 5 terminals and almost gave up. The person next to me also found it hard.

There is a knack and a hard to notice sign telling you how to press it, but I still found it unresponsive.

As a result I will sadly be going to other poke places next time due to the frustration, which is sad because this place is 5 star for the quality of food, ingredients, service and its a nice venue.

However it almost looses another star as the upsells seem a bit too essential when the quantities of things in mine were fine without them. After a few of them, the good price had rocketed upwards.

So sad, it's like a great runner who loses the race because they...

Absolutely horrible customer service. I ordered and paid for my meal, they had some sort of error with their system and they couldn’t see my payment. I showed them I had paid but they did not care! They made me pay again to get my food and then said they would refund me if I got charged twice. Not surprisingly I got charged twice however, getting a refund (which I still haven’t got) was an impossible task. They told me to call them but no one answers the phones. I then found an email address and finally got a response saying I would be refunded- did not happen. When I told them this they did not care and told me to come in for a free bowl which makes no sense as I’ve already paid for it and received no refund thus it...
