Jimi Loves Gloria — Restaurant in London

Came here on bank holiday Sunday having called ahead to see if we needed to book and was told that they weren’t taking bookings but there was outdoor seating available if we wanted to walk in so we started making our way to the bar from Covent Garden which took us a total of 10 mins. When we arrived there were 4 empty tables outside so we walked into the bar to ask if we could take one. The woman at the door was extremely rude and told us there was no seating available and that it was bookings only which contradicted what we were told on the phone and when we tried to explain this to her she ignored us and abruptly walked back into the bar before I had even finished my sentence. I appreciate it is bank holiday and they may have been busy but the lack of politeness and professionalism is disappointing and based on this experience I would not return nor recommend this...

We have given this a four star review 🌟 but we do have a couple of complaints... actually just one! So here's the deal.. My boyfriend and I had a great day at work and wanted to go out and have some fun. We could only think of one place to go and celabrate. A little the place we had been just a few nights ago, a place with a cheeky vibe, cool setting, brilliant cocktails and our newly favourite bartender. So here is our complaint: Why wasn't he working tonight?!?!?! Daniel... where are you?!

The staff were great there tonight and all that, but where was Daniel?!?!?

Went to London for the first time and happened to go into this bar my very first night. Ended up going back every single day of my 6 night vacation, the drinks are great, speciality cocktails that taste awesome, but even better is the staff. They were honestly one of the highlights of my whole trip, all of them were super friendly, after just two days they knew my name and what drink I wanted walking in. Thank you Kass, Daniel, Omar, and Joseph for being amazing. I will definitely be going back the next time I...
