Today, I came back from a hard working day of physical labour which drained me. The first thing that came to my mind was KFC! Upon arrival, the shop was in a state. Absolutely disgusting with ketchup stains everywhere and muddy puddles in the store. Didn’t know that was possible, yikes! However, I was determined to get my KFC as I was so hungry (biggest mistake of 2024). Although the cashier was nice (Raja) the woman that gave my food was awfully terrible. There is no word in the world that I can use to describe the patronising service from this woman. Firstly, I had asked her nicely if I can have a fork and some tissues but she looked back at me in a very condescending way like I mentioned McDonalds in front of her. Instead she whips out A SPOON???? How can I use a spoon to eat my popcorn chicken and my chips? She then decided to show me how to eat chicken using a spoon after asking her can I get a fork. I was truly gobsmacked! After that traumatising experience, I was walking home in the spitting rain eating my chicken using a spoon whilst trying to contemplate what atrocities I have just seen; not the mention the spoon was wooden and caused splinters in my poor fried chicken. Also, they forgot to add my supercharger sauce which usually charges myself, which I was really looking forward too.

They aren’t following the staff position layout which means that it can take longer than 30 minutes to be even served at the till. Their main focus seems to be delivery orders. There should always be a person planted at the POS position to serve customers.
The employees aren’t trained well and I don’t blame them at all as it seems to be the fault of management. Many do not know some of the customisation options, rewards or even some standard menu items. They deserve to be trained better.
Items are always half filled like my popcorn snack bucket which was a quarter way full, wrap of the day which was half way full and mostly tortilla or even the wings where they seem to be serving the smallest pieces compared to what can be seen in the tray.
Tables are often found dirty in the evening (which I can understand to an extent) but the levels at which it gets to is insane. There are multiple bags of food all on the tables and floors.

Read moreThere was a fight in KFC today, I was a customer there. The uber eat delivery drivers were waiting to collect food. There were lots of them waiting. A bengali uber eat guy was making some noise to hurry up with his orders. He collected his order and left. Then a black uber eat delivery driver also called out for his order using hand gesture to call over a KFC staff. The staff asked him which order number it is and then said 'don't call me over like that with your hand next time". That's when it all kicked off. They started arguing and threatening each other. The uber driver tried to leave but 2 KFC staff tried to keep him inside so that he can't leave as they called the police. This compromised the customers safety. They pushed door shut and it aggregated the uber eat driver more.
I can see that the KFC staff were working very hard and as fast as possible. The uber eat driver was also eager to take his order to customer on time. Everyone needed to be more understanding. I'm not happy about the KFC staff trying to keep the uber riser inside while I was there. It wasn't a safe environment. I left...
