I booked the High School Musical Brunch through LoveBrunch in September 2025 and was left extremely disappointed. Please be aware this experience is completely overpriced - I would give a 0 star review if I could.

We were seated with strangers, given dirty glasses, served watered-down drinks, and cheap food and most of the music wasn’t even HSM despite the event being advertised as themed. To make matters worse, a manager at the venue was rude and dismissive, and at one point told us to leave if we weren’t happy. The venue won’t accept any responsibility for complaints and so I was told to speak to LoveBrunch.

When I raised a complaint, Kasie at LoveBrunch also failed to take any accountability for the nightmare evening we experienced. They will refuse to refund the deposit as it’s ’against Ts and Cs’ and will only offer tickets to another event - they will happily shift the blame and take your money. I’ve lost all in faith in LoveBrunch and so didn’t accept the offer to have another event, this is honestly the last thing I will be booking and so won’t be taking up that offer. The event simply wasn’t delivered as advertised, and their refusal to provide a refund highlights a real lack of accountability and transparency.

If you’re thinking of booking through LoveBrunch…. Don’t! Be aware that the events may not reflect what’s promised — and if you have a bad experience, they will not stand behind...

We came to love brunch lokanta for a friends birthday a couple of weeks ago. When we arrived the first thing we were given was the bill with a service charge on it, before receiving a drink or anything. We paid the bill which is fine, but told them to remove the service charge and we will leave a tip at the end if the service was good. Thank god we removed it. We were told we were only allowed 2 jugs of cocktails between 5 of us the WHOLE brunch and we didn’t even get the 90 minutes as stated on their website. On their website it says the brunch is 2:30-5pm, we got there at 3:30 which means we should have had drinks until the end of the brunch (5pm). We drank these 2 jugs quickly as there wasn’t much in them at all. We tried to order more drinks, we got ignored, 4pm comes and we are finally being served and got told ‘drinks are done’, which was not true at all, as everyone else around us were still being served, they finally agreed to more drinks for us, bought 2 more jugs over and said ‘last ones’ angrily when they arrived. Food comes, the food is cold like it’s been sat there for hours, dry chicken and literally 3 small pieces of chicken, a couple of spoonfuls of rice and a tiny side salad. Was not worth the money at all. Worst brunch we have ever been. Avoid...

Went with the girls, food awful and all seemed reheated, meat not cooked properly. We were sitting by the bar and saw them washing the utensils on the side, they poured one kettle of hot water over a tray of them and then just wiped them all with the same tea-towel, at the best of times this is not enough let alone during pandem! They do 4 brunches a day so maybe rushing to get them out again. Very expensive for what you get, they take a £10 booking fee that does not get taken off final bill, so not sure what that goes to, then they also add a waiter fee at £5 per head, total ended up being 55£ for a very poor brunch, bottomless is only for an hour and a half, most brunhes offer 2 hours for less money and better food.
