We’ve always liked coming to the Ashburnham as it’s a lovely local pub, but we sadly won’t be coming back after an incredibly disheartening experience tonight.
Our small group was having a nice, quiet night with a few drinks — being polite with each order, and never being loud or disruptive. About 10 minutes before closing time, as we were finishing up our drinks, the manager came over to our table and said “you have 10 minutes” and walked away — okay, fine; we were getting ready to head off anyway.
One of us got up to use the toilet before leaving and on the way back that same manager was overheard saying “yeah, there’s three left over there in the corner — and they’re Irish.”

I feel unless you’re of the certain clientele who live on this road you’re not particularly...

Nothing not...
