Appalling and very rude service. I had an issue with a Bahn mi that was so overcooked it was inedible. I was promised a replacement on my next visit but when I returned to redeem the offer I was informed that this was not possible. The sales staff whom I spoke with should not have told me that and that was the end of the matter as far as this lady was concerned. I left my number for the manager / owner to call and talk with me but no one called. I week later I returned and again the same rude and ignorant lady told me that if no one called then they didn’t want to talk with me. Gobsmacked…….never have I experienced first hand such a low level of service regarding the quality of THEIR own food. IMHO I wouldn’t bother wasting your money in here. As for the cleanliness mentioned in another post I have to agree. I too witnessed dirty conditions and different types of food being prepared on the same chopping boards with the same knifes and bare hands. As for a 5 star rating you can buy those on the internet. Not expecting a response from the owner as in my previous experience they can’t be bothered. Had to give 1 star as you can’t post...
Read moreThis is a small Vietnamese place which sells the famous Vietnamese filled baguette (for anyone expecting a sandwich it's not that kind of bread). They also do rice and noodle bowls. Fillings/toppings include five spice grilled chicken, lemongrass grilled pork and prawn satay. There's vegan options too.
We got summer rolls with prawns, prawn satay noodle bowl and special chicken and pork banh mi. The total was £24. They take credit cards, including Amex.
You can eat in or takeaway.
You can also try their Vietnamese coffee. There are juices and a brown sugar bubble tea on offer too.

Read moreA nice stop for lunch, very good value for money. It’s a bit of a hole in the wall, so a very good pitstop, but not the place for a long, sit-down lunch. Service was fantastic too! I had the prawn satay bahn mi and the hot Vietnamese brown coffee for £10. It was lovely and very filling. I also tried the prawn summer roll (there were two), which was nice. The sandwich is definitely enough food for one person though. My friend had the special bahn mi and said it was very good as well. Overall I would recommend the sandwiches, and definitely the...
