Extremely rude staff, horrible food taste, very unhygienic place, worst service ever!!!

I saw the reviews and went to this restaurant. 1. Ordered 1 hot and sour soup which had overpowering taste of soy sauce and tomato ketchup. I tried 1 spoon and left it as is because taste was unbearable. Ordered Beef in chili oil and rice, dish was as if someone poured the entire salt box in it. I saw the kitchen staff tasting the ingredient directly with bottle touching their mouth and then pouring in the large vessel for preparing the food.

I complained to the manager for the overpowering salt in my beef dish, he brought spoon and digged in the beef dish and told me it’s not salty. I said I find it very salty and then it’s impossible that he is not finding it salty.

Manager said in a very rude tone that even if I am not able to eat more than a spoon, I have to pay the full amount.

How can a restaurant manager really dig into a customer dish and say that customer is not right. Especially when customer complained as soon as the dish arrived.

It’s extreme case of horrible customer service. They have either bought the ratings or the actual chef left and they are sitting on those ratings with their horrible customer service and rude behavior.

Never ever ever go to this restaurant if you respect yourself, your money, taste buds and humanity in general.

Owner is probably not aware of how rude these guys are and the horrible service or they are all same gang not bothered by...

Food is somewhat authentic, but a bit oily, although very good value.

However, as many have noted here - that the service is a big turn-off and to some degrees, dodgy. Upon requesting the bill, we were told if we were to pay in cash, there would be a discount of 9 pounds. Unfortunately it was our last day in London, we had no cash but our cards with us. We asked to pay in debit card, whilst the system has successfully made the attempts 3 times, the staff insisted that their terminal has rejected all of them, therefore no money was deducted (what he did was to insert our card, then pressed "cancel" whilst the system showed "approving"), his excuse was that they did not accept cards with signatures only. I could clearly see on my netbank that the funds have been deducted, the staff insisted us to get cash out. I had to walk out to the rain for 3 blocks to find an ATM, and later the "cash rate" discount dropped to 6 pounds only. The staff repeatedly insisted that I was mistaken about the bank, the funds were most definitely not deducted. Of course immediately walking out the store, I rang the bank to de-authorise the transactions, it still took 15 working days for the bank to investigate and clear, as they were all proper and successful transactions made by them.

All in all, food is nice but not irreplaceable. Place that we will...

The food is excellent and the prices are very reasonable. The experience is terrible. We were sent down stairs after we queued for a while. The staff downstairs said that there are no free tables, while there were only 4 people seated. When questioned I was told that the other tables are booked, while there were no reservation signs. We were told to queue again. When we came upstairs, the other customers who were behind us were sent down stairs again. After some more delay, we were told that there are three seats and we should eat within an hour. When we got seated three of us were given one menu card. When asked we were told that there are no more, but there were more than 20 seats vacant. The conversations were not polite. It was almost as if the restaurant was paying for us. The whole atmosphere is targeted towards the Chinese community and friends that they bring in. Anyone else will be treated as extra. You can sit in a corner and eat but you can't ask for anything. Even the waiters will not come to wait at our table, while they will go and ask what they need from other tables. It's hard to believe that this place exists in the middle of London, but it does and when you go here you will understand. Good food highly...
