Sadly we sat down and left again. It was extremely busy with just one person working we think. Was told it would be a long wait for food and even 20mins or so to get a drink. Shame as menu looked good.

Please note I'm sorry if my brief review was seen as a way of "undervaluing the service" and "quality of food". Indeed I can't comment on food as we weren't in a position to try it and even stated the food looked good and we were excited to try this and I'm sure it would have been very nice based on other reviews. But I was presented with a chance to review based on an experience of trying to visit the establishment and I can only comment on that experience. This wasn't today and was about a month ago, and when we went in and asked about availability we were told there was one table available. I understand the comments around making a booking first but unfortunately I can't see how speed of service could have been improved regardless if a prior booking was made if there was only one person available? If this one table had been booked half hour beforehand would this have made any difference? If you're saying Saturdays and Sundays are extremely busy then it possibly worth looking at an additional resource of more than just one person. I appreciate everyone is trying their best and when we were told food would take a significant time we actually said that's fine we will just get a drink. We went downstairs to queue and after the queue for a drink and was told it would be about 20mins or so to get this in which case we decided this was quite a long wait just for a drink and chose to take our leave. Appreciate catering industry is busy but you're saying this is a known issue but I personally cant remmeber the last time Ive had to wait for 20+ mins for a drink. I think if a customer is leaving polite and honest feedback based on an experience being told to have more compassion and understanding isn't the best response? Unfortunately I can't exactly present high stars if I tried to go in with intention of ordering and due to lengthy wait times wasn't in a position to. But if I'm in the area again I look forward to try and making a booking and seeing if this makes any difference because as mentioned the food did look nice on the menu and would be good to...
Read moreDuring our week-long stay in London, we were fortunate to be next door to Nora Café. From our first visit, we were impressed by the friendly staff, swift service, and the café’s bustling yet cozy atmosphere. It quickly became a morning routine for our son to head downstairs to fetch coffee for us. He relished this responsibility and enjoyed the warm interactions with the staff. Occasionally, his sister would join him. We also had breakfast there once, and it was delicious!
Finding a place with excellent coffee, tasty food, and wonderful people made our London visit truly memorable. A big thank you to Nora and her team—you are all amazing! Greetings from Sydney; we’ve returned home safely, and Henry will always cherish his time with you, especially the fluffy toy you gave him. He felt...
Read moreI've been here quite a few times now and the food has been consistently good. The staff have very good customer service skills and are such genuine and lovely people. I highly recommend their Anatolian Chicken dish. Their English Breakfasts are also very good; consistent, well cooked and not at all greasy. They also have a great carrot cake, it's huge and rich and so much better than the ones they have at Costa and Pret and other cafes in the area. Anyway, in my humble opinion, it is big enough for two to share. In fact all the portions are huge, whether it's a curry, breakfast or other meal. I eat more in a single meal here than I do at a buffet! Like everyone else says, and is so true, the staff really are so kind...
