Nando's Waterloo — Restaurant in London

I know Nando’s is just Nando’s and they serve Chicken but, this new place is so cool. You will find it near the world famous Leak Street Tunnel if you approach from the London eye side it will be on your left, just keep walking and you will see it. And if you are walking through the tunnel from Lower Marsh it will be at the end of the tunnel to the right near Brewdog. Honestly you have to give credit where credit is due, it’s Nando’s but they really have made an effort.

The interior is simply beautiful and reflects the location by having some amazing art on the walls. It’s a really beautiful restaurant, you can see they really tried to make sure the art experience of the area was not ignored, it’s lovely to sit and relax in here.

The food was perfect but what’s even better is the great staff and the service, service with a smile. I came here when they were launching and this is my first visit since they have been fully trading, I didn’t think it was fair to review it then. They also have great seating outside not that you would use it now that it’s getting cold but I can imagine in the summer this place is going to be buzzing.

It honestly has some unique looking design features and worth a visit after a long day out in Waterloo or after visiting the london eye. This place is away from the hustle and bustle of the crowds and you can eat real food at a decent price. Food fantastic as always at nandos once correctfood brought out , service was appalling, Saturday lunch time so expected it to be busy not a problem 15/20 min wait and were then seated, ordered through app as always, 10 mins later Wife's food comes out without the extra pot of sauce no worries it will come with mine probably then find wifes burger is wrong as she always has certain things removed and never been a problem before , 10/15 mins later after trying to get staff attention, 1 of them finally stops and say food will be brought out when ready, absolutely disgusting nandos if wife's burger had been right she would of been finished by the time my food came out, find someone else who then took wifes plate to get the burger done correctly and returned with my food, so eating 1 at a time here, then correct food was out for my wife was brought out so finally could have a meal together, then staff proceeded to ask every couple of minutes if everything and food was OK, so one extreme to the next, regulary visit nandos but won't be coming back to this one again, if this had been a first experience it would of put me off...

Excellent quality food for a chain restaurant!

The spicy sauces and marinades are particularly flavorful, and their lemonade is refreshing and well-made. Outstanding value for money overall.

Love the modern QR code ordering system at the table - you can browse the menu, place your order, and pay all from your phone, then the food is brought directly to you. Very convenient and efficient.

One minor quirk though - despite the food being delivered to your table, you still need to collect your own cutlery from a station. It feels a bit inconsistent with the otherwise seamless table service experience, but it’s a small inconvenience.
