The food is good. Humous wasn't creamy ( the Sainsbury and Tesco Humous - brand 'Sabra' is so much better) but the food was tasty and I enjoyed it very much. Imam Bayildi was the best dish to have as a vegetarian. The Borek was tasty too. Falafel was nice and that's how I got to taste the Humous. If Humous is as good as Sabra I would order it as a separate dish. Please make it better. I will certainly go again. There are two problems with this place though. Outside sitting area allows smoking so if you don't want to risk second smoke you are better off being inside. Second issue is the old gentleman at the door. He actually shouted at people who wanted to get a bill or asked for a table. To have the job he has to be related to the owner, if not it's a big mistake. As due to him I saw two groups leave in one hour I was there. For example one couple came and inquired about a table. And he just said to them - "Go downstairs and wait as you are blocking other customers. Just wait and don't come up here". This place is very spacious and this couple weren't blocking anything. Even if they were you can ask people to wait politely. That's what the lady said, can you be a bit polite about this. He said 'Get out of my way'. They just said we won't eat here and left. Then another group left due to rudeness. Another group he kept waiting on the street for 10 mins. When there were lots of empty tables around. In the end one person from the group came up and then they were given a table. Most people would have walked away after being ignored for 5 mins. These people were patient. I think the place will do much better if this gentleman wasn't working in customer service. I would give this place 5 star if I didn't have to witness such rude behaviour and terrible customer service. I personally just ignored him and dealt with the younger waiter.

Such POOR SERVICE- a shame for the management of this overpriced restaurant. We to this restaurant for dinner as a family of 11 people. We were hosting our friends from the US, whom we were meeting after 10 years. As we walked in the restaurant- the manager made no effort to combine the tables for us (although the restaurant was half empty). Very conveniently he told us to sit on two separate tables- thus splitting us up. We didn’t raise a hue or cry about it- but it felt really odd. As we ordered the food - within two minutes of ordering it, we requested for a slight change in one of the dishes- as our guest had spotted a special item on the menu. Once we requested for the change, the waiter made a nasty face, and said the order was given 10 minutes ago, and as it was an expensive dish, and that they wont change it. As we reminded him that we had only ordered a couple of minutes ago- he frowned and did not share of they wont change it or no. It was clearly an embarrassing moment for us as hosts- for a whopping bill of 133£ on one table, and 85£ on our second table. The staff NEED a course on hospitality. The story gets better- this restaurant REFILLS Heinz ketchup bottles with other brands. IT LOOKED AND TASTED DIFFERENT THAN THE REGULAR HEINZ KETCHUP. Not sure if Heinz would be happy about it. For the obnoxious behaviour that the restaurant staff offered us- and the illegal use of Heinz bottles- i am certain to reach out to the right authorities.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Troia Southbank, a delightful spot offering Mediterranean cuisine that truly tantalizes the taste buds. The ambiance at Troia is simply captivating, with a trendy renovation that exudes a modern yet cozy vibe. The clean and well-maintained interior adds to the overall dining experience, making it a welcoming environment to enjoy a meal. The service at Trovis is good, with attentive staff who are knowledgeable about the menu and eager to make your dining experience memorable. I was impressed by their efficiency and friendliness, which added to the overall enjoyment of my visit. The Mediterranean dishes at Troia are absolutely delicious. I particularly enjoyed the baklava for dessert, which was a sweet and decadent treat that left me wanting more. In conclusion, Troua is a gem in the world of Mediterranean dining and they also service British cuisine such as fish and chips and burgers. With its yummy food, excellent service, trendy ambiance, and delectable desserts, it is a must-visit for anyone looking to experience a taste of the Mediterranean in a welcoming and stylish setting. I highly recommend stopping by and indulging in a culinary journey that will surely leave you satisfied.

I recently had the pleasure of stopping by this charming restaurant for an impromptu lunch with a friend, and I must say, it was a delightful experience overall.

Warm Welcome and Thoughtful Service: Upon arrival, we were seated straight away, which set a positive tone for our visit. The staff were friendly and accommodating, going above and beyond to ensure our comfort. A particularly touching moment occurred when I mentioned my need to pray. They graciously escorted me to a corridor behind the kitchen, laid down a prayer mat for me, and even pointed me in the direction of prayer. This thoughtful gesture was incredibly appreciated, especially since I was unfamiliar with the area and was close to missing my prayers. It’s not every day you find such considerate service!

Delicious Food: Now, onto the food! I opted for the mixed grill, and it did not disappoint. The meat was cooked to perfection—juicy and full of flavour—and it was served alongside fresh rice and a crisp salad. Each bite was a testament to the kitchen's skill, making it clear that they take pride in their offerings.

Atmosphere and Affordability: The restaurant itself boasts a pleasant atmosphere, making it an inviting spot for a meal. It strikes a nice balance between casual dining and a cozy ambiance. Additionally, the prices are quite reasonable, making it an affordable option for anyone looking to enjoy a tasty meal without breaking the bank.

While this restaurant may not be an absolute standout that I would go out of my way to return to, it certainly provided a lovely lunch experience. The combination of friendly service, delicious food, and a welcoming atmosphere makes it worth considering if you find yourself in the area. I left feeling satisfied and grateful for the thoughtful hospitality extended to me...
