I normally don't give feedback, but this time I feel obligated to. It was my first time going to London, and I was so excited about it. I went there on Sunday the 20th with my 5 years old daughter and my brother-in-law. Because we arrived at lunch time we decided to have something to eat before sightseeing the city, and because the restaurant looked nice we chose to have lunch there. That was the worst decision we made. I would put 0 star if it was possible. I have NEVER had such a bad experience in my life. The food came so fast that it seemed like it has been unfrozen and put in the microwave rather than cooked, but because the presentation was nice we still decided to give it try. We ordered: a salad with salmon (for me), pasta with bolognese sauce(for my daughter) and pizza (for my brother-in -law). We paid roughly £76 for everything, and honestly I would have not paid even £10. The portion of the salad was ridiculously small and the salmon didn't have any flavour. The pizza was dry, burnt and once again: tasteless. My daughter bolognese pasta wasn't good neither. And as that wasn't enough, immediately after that we all started to feel awful. My daughter had the worst immediate reaction. She felt very tired and her tummy was hurting so bad that she vomited twice. My brother in-law and I as well, felt so bad that at end we couldn't even visit the city as we planned to. Today is the 23rd and my symptoms are getting worse. I called 111 explaining what happened and they said that it's most probably food intoxication. That's why I felt obligated to give the feedback. I think people should avoid this place. Nobody should pay that much for a very poor and dangerous food quality. I wouldn't be surprise if they fail their next food inspection. I'll share the picture of what we ordered and my daughter vomit as well, so you can see...
Read moreWe are visiting from the U.S. and were seeking a place to have dinner after our ride on the London Eye and decided to give this place a try.
We were able to get seated inside without reservations. Our server greeted us quickly and took our drink orders, recommending the garlic bread if we wanted an appetizer for more than one person. We enjoyed our wine, amaretto drink and garlic bread. Off to a great start. We then placed our orders for our entrees. When the entrees were served, the servers were super sweet to our young daughter, pretending that it was snowing as they sprinkled cheese over her spaghetti. Sadly, that is when the positive experience ended.
As we waited for our entrees we noticed dozens of flies perched on the wall behind us. The bathroom also had flies attached to the toilet paper rolls stacked in there. The spinach and ricotta ravioli we ordered was okay in taste but six raviolis were stacked on top each other in a bowl and overcooked so as we tried to scoop them out, they fell apart. Our lasagna was so over cooked that the noodles were just mush. Like eating wet bread. After each of us tried just one bite we decided we absolutely did not want anymore. The spaghetti bolognese for our daughter was not over cooked but was pretty bland. No one came by to check on whether we got what we ordered, enjoying our food, or whether we needed anything else. Someone else came to clear our dishes including the entire lasagna entree without inquiry or recognizing there was an issue with a customer sending away an entire plateful of food. We had to flag down our server for our bill, who still did not ask if we enjoyed our food. Maybe there is a reason for this.
Over $100 U.S. for a very subpar meal. Won’t return and...
Read moreI ordered LASAGNA, and it came out looking like pudding. I put it in my mouth and I could chew it with my tongue. The noodles were overcooked. The flavor was entirely cheese. Meat must have been taken out because I chewed no sausage or meat.
For £20 I was upset enough to express how bad this lasagna looked and tasted. Usually I shut my mouth and eat. They were happy to allow me to choose something else and the bruschetta didn’t disappoint.
My daughter had the carbonara and it was edible. My in laws had a pizza and dry burger. My wife had a Caesars Salad that she liked.
After I decided my lasagna was horrible I looked at reviews on here for their lasagna. “Tastes like microwaved frozen lasagna from a box” and that really said it all.
What do I like in a lasagna?
I like my lasagna to look closer to a cube than and soggy mound of gelatinous food. I like for it to have ground Italian sausage. I like for it to have ground beef I like the sauce to have been cooked at least 5 hours
This may have been cooked long but the sauce wasn’t think enough to hold the lasagna together.
This lasagna was fit only for the homeless.
They need to ditch this recipe and find something that others can...
