I come here usually once a week to work throughout the day and each time it has been a lovely experience and the staff are generally all very kind. I think the coffee is delicious, though I couldn't comment too much on food as I haven't ordered much - what I have had has been very tasty.

However, I felt compelled to write a review today because of Janice (I hope I'm spelling your name right!) who was just so lovely. I picked up on her positive energy as soon as I came in and it wasn't long before this was confirmed when I went to order a matcha latte - she was so lovely in recommending the best way to enjoy it (which her recommendation was absolutely spot on!). It sounds like a simple interaction, nothing special, but I've seen how hospitality can be incredibly draining. It takes a lot of patience and kindness to make an effort to engage with customers in conversation (and I don't blame or judge anyone who doesn't) - most customers don't even deserve such kind treatment but I see someone like Janice would likely treat every customer with kindness. In my eyes, she went above and beyond and really made my day even better. She might feel she didn't do much, but sometimes these simple conversations can make all the difference to a person in a world where individualism is favoured over community. Thanks Janice and wishing you abundance and all the best in your...

oat cappuccino £3.70 sweet potato harissa cakes £9.50 buttermilk pancakes w/ candied banana, roast pecans, nutella, whipped cream £9.95

we had been eyeing up grind's signature buttermilk pancakes that we've seen over social media but the menu at this particular branch is smaller and quite different from the others (as it’s in collaboration with brewdog). so whilst the pancakes comes with mascarpone and berry compote at other branches, here it came with banana and nutella (the menu states there was supposed to be whipped cream too but there wasn’t any on ours). i found that the pancakes weren’t fluffy and, instead, unpleasantly stodgy. personally, i wasn’t a fan of the toppings either but perhaps one for nutella fans bc they were very generous with it!

we also had their sweet potato harissa cakes which was plated was really nicely but i found it funny how they were served on a huge plate when the cakes were actually very small (smaller than my coffee). flavour-wise, i couldn’t taste the harissa (or any spice) but it was a decent dish overall. i’d be up for trying grind again bc i do like their coffee and i still have hope but probably just not...

Grind Coffee often garners attention for its vibrant atmosphere and diverse breakfast choices, making it a popular spot for coffee lovers and brunch enthusiasts alike.

The coffee at Grind whether you prefer a classic espresso, a smooth pour-over, or a flavored latte.

The breakfast menu is often varied, catering to different tastes and dietary preferences. The hash browns and the Korean breakfast sandwich were delicious.

Had a lovely breakfast here on a Saturday morning. The staff were fantastic! Super friendly and helpful. The coffee was top notch! And would definitely bring us back again. The standout dish for us were the Harissa Cakes. Full of flavor and good amount of spice. The Chicken & Waffles were unfortunately just so-so. The waffles were decent and the sauce had a good heat to offset the sweet from the syrup. What let the dish down was the chicken. The pieces I got were very tough and chewy. It felt like they’d been left in the fryer a bit too long and after a few bites I just couldn’t eat anymore. Overall we had a lovely morning and we would definitely return for the amazing coffee!!
