I tried Nando's for the first time here, and I loved it so far! I have tried 1/4 chicken with spicy rice and chicken fingers and some chips (french fries). You can select the degree of spiciness of your chicken, I tried both "hot" and "very hot". If you're not that used to eating hot food it might be a good idea to start with the "hot" sauce first. The chicken is marinated for 24 hours in the chosen sauce so it can be quite hot. The chicken fingers were hotter than the 1/4 chicken. There was a very long line of people waiting for a table to be free, we had to wait for about 30 minutes in the waiting room before being allowed to go down. It is therefore advisable to make a reservation in advance. They had baby chairs and the waiters and waitresses were very friendly. The toilets were unfortunately all very dirty, I was not even able to use any of them for this reason.

We went for lunch in nandos after my graduation ceremony last week as a group of 10 and were told we had to wait minimum an hour to be seated. It was around 1.30pm and as we had children with us we did not feel like walking around under the heat to find another place to eat. We waited and I truly thought that the downstairs sitting was fully packed hence why we could not be at least seated and start ordering drinks or sides. I went to the toilet downstairs and what a surprise to see kitchen and till staff chatting because of a lack of work and the restaurant at around 70% empty. I was actually shocked and still wondering why would the manager act in this way. While I was waiting upstairs, I counted 43 people being turned down at the door in 45 minutes as the manager would tell them that waiting time is in excess of an hour. I am not sure if the plan is to make the restaurant close down, but this was an absolute joke! We are in a fast-food chain, review your principles!

As a regular Nando's customer, I was shocked today by the rudeness of the staff and the poor quality of the food. I went to Nandos with six other friends and the whole experience was very disappointing. 1) Despite the fact that the restaurant was 70% empty, we waited more than 30 minutes to be seated. 2)After we ordered our food, the waiter arrived 20 minutes later to inform us that our choices were unavailable!!! It took them 20 minutes to realise!!!! 3) We were asked to change our order and then waited another 45 minutes!!! We were waiting and politely asked the waiter how long we would have to wait. He was impolite and did not respond. 4) In general, the staff was extremely loud, shouting and arguing with one another. 5)the food arrived cold, overcooked. Save your money and time and do not go there!

Expansive and nicely furnished Nando’s deep below Covent Garden. I went rather late in the evening, though well within business hours, and was disappointed with the quality of service. The condiment station nearest my table was out of ketchup, so I asked a member of any more was available. She directed me to another station to look for some, but there wasn’t any there either. I was told “sorry” and that was that; they didn’t look in the back or check upstairs, just said sorry and stopped caring. I noticed later that another member of staff was refilling the day’s bottles while all this was happening; I guess that took precedence.

Upstairs Staff were nice and welcoming. We waited ~15-20 minutes to get a table. The restaurant is clean and cosy, perhaps one of the better Nando’s I’ve been to. Food was below average, portion sizes are getting smaller by the day and the wait time was too long. We waited 40 minutes after placing the online order to get our food. I wouldn’t recommend the chicken thighs, they weren’t filling (not sure if they were from chicks or full sized chickens) and the salad wasn’t fresh. It’s also difficult to get the waiters’ attention if you need anything from them (e.g. drinks) so you might as well forget about it.

Food is great as always. Our orders arrived quickly. I really like the interior of this restaurant and the small pods for groups. Looks like cosy secluded places.
