Negi & Nori is a hidden gem for sushi and Japanese lovers like me! Located just a stone's throw away from Hoxton Station, this place is a true find. Their menu is packed with super fresh Japanese dishes that won't disappoint. It's simply perfect if you're looking to meet your friends over a great dinner, or for an intimate date-night.

I highly recommend their Small Plates, especially the Chicken Katsu Buns, Tempura, and Gyoza - absolutely divine! And if you're into sushi, their Signature Sushi range and Sashimi Platter are a must-try. Not to mention, their Ramen and Yaki Soba are equally fantastic and reasonably priced.

Negi Nori Shoreditch is a hidden gem that absolutely blew me away. From the moment I stepped in, the atmosphere was calm, welcoming, and effortlessly stylish — the perfect setting for what turned out to be one of the best Japanese dining experiences I’ve had in London.

The food is nothing short of phenomenal. Every hand roll was made fresh in front of me, with top-tier ingredients that you can taste in every bite. The toro and scallop rolls were standouts — rich, buttery, and unforgettable. Even the sides, like the miso soup and edamame, were done to perfection.

But what truly sets Negi Nori apart is the staff. They were absolutely amazing — friendly, knowledgeable, and clearly passionate about what they do. They took time to explain each roll and made the entire experience feel personal and special. Their attention to detail and genuine hospitality made all the difference.

First time: Delicious vegetable sushi and yummy vegetarian Katsu curry. Quick and no-fuss delivery. Would recommend! It would be nice to be able to opt out of receiving plastic cutlery with the order, otherwise no issues. Ordered through just eats.

Second time: delicious food again, ordered through their website this time, however the full order did not arrive. I rung to query and the guy was not helpful. After a lot of back and forth we were finally able to establish the full order didn’t arrive, I ordered through them, no deliveroo, and I would like a refund for the item not delivered. This was agreed upon. I followed up half an hour later with an email to them, however it is now 4 days later and not a peep from them, no refund or acknowledgement that they will do this. Very frustrating as the food is yum but they need a better system for taking customer queries. UPDATE - refund finally actioned a week later. Would still recommend...
