If I could put zero stars, I would but no option! I came here to have a peaceful dinner with my friend. The manager in charge disrupted our evening as we could hear verbal abuse, shouting and swearing to one particular chef in the kitchen but also addressing both chefs. It went on for the duration of our meal and we no longer enjoyed the food and the atmosphere and felt really uncomfortable. Once the manager was finished having a go at them he came over to our table and asked us if everything was okay. Which we then confronted him about his derogatory language where he became extremely defensive and said ‘it’s the kitchen everything has to be perfect and to stay out of it that’s how it has to be run’. As someone who is Muslim and clearly managing a small business, it’s incredibly sad to see one grown man shouting at other grown men. The reality for some people is that they can’t defend themselves or they decide to bear the horrible bosses because they are in unfortunate circumstances where they might be struggling. Nobody should justify boss for his horrible attitude towards hardworking staff, we’re all humans dealing with the same life in different ways. We should be kind to one another and when someone isn’t doing a good job, men should be men and speak about it with respect. I certainly won’t be going back to this restaurant and I won’t be...

I would not even give one star! Based on the manner as to how I was treated, considering I have been a loyal, regular customer for well over 3 years!! One evening I decided to purchase a meal, To my disappointment it turned out to be swimming in gravy and hardly any ingredients in the dish! I cannot believe you have the audacity to call this an al la Carte menu and charge £7.95!! I called the restaurant and explained that I was not happy with the meal and it was not edible. The “so-called” assistant stated, “ we think it’s in YOUR interests not to return! I then decided to return the meal so they can see with their very own eyes this is clearly not satisfactory.. he then offered me my money back and ask not to return. Mr “so-called” assistant - first you need to learn to take positive and negative feedbacks, that is the nature of the business. Your behaviour and conduct was unnecessary and you will lose more customers by being unnecessarily disrespectful.

I have informed my colleagues of your unfair behaviour and they stated customers are always right - so your decision to turn me away I believe was a ‘personal attack’ and un call for..

Good luck with...

Upon entering New Bangkok, I was immediately struck by the inviting ambiance and warm hospitality of the staff. The interior decor exudes an elegant yet cozy atmosphere, perfect for both intimate dinners and lively gatherings. The crispy fried chicken was a perfect start to the meal, boasting a tantalizing crunch with each bite and accompanied by a delectable dipping sauce that elevated its flavors. The squid fry showcased the chef's expertise in seafood preparation, offering tender morsels of squid enveloped in a light and crispy batter.Moving on to the mains, both the special Thai noodles and special Thai fried rice were a symphony of flavors and textures. The green curry with beef was Rich, creamy, and bursting with aromatic spices, it was a true testament to the artistry of Thai cuisine. The tender beef melted in my mouth, perfectly complemented by the vibrant flavors of the curry sauce. To conclude this exquisite feast, I indulged in the sticky mango rice. Food was really good and if I was just reviewing the food it would be 4.5/5 but the service was the worst I've ever experienced. Waitress seemed to have no idea what she was doing. Kept pushing us to order starters and drinks despite us saying no multiple times. She didn't bring out knives and forks so we had to ask her multiple times. Told us we could bring in drinks but didn't tell us about the cork charge for doing so (£1.50 per drink). Finally when we asked to remove the service charge the waitress and owner argued with us and refused to do so. When we told them service charges are optional they told us that "everywhere does it". They also complained we used the booking software that they have connected to Google because it charges them? Stop using it then ? Overall awful service but good food.

Absolutely incredible experience at New Bangkok in Fulham! I had the Pad Thai, and it was hands-down the most delicious I’ve had in all of London—perfectly balanced, full of flavor, and cooked just right. I also tried the Massaman soup and dried rice, and both were equally impressive. The depth of flavor and authenticity in each dish really stood out. On top of the amazing food, the service was excellent—warm, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. It’s the kind of place that makes you feel at home while treating your tastebuds to something special. If you're a Thai food lover (or even if you're not yet), New Bangkok is an absolute must-visit in Fulham!
