I came here for lunch just before 12 pm today on a Saturday. I would recommend the hot chocolate if you don't care about the price.

P.S. the prices from photos of the menu on Google maps are outdated. I didn't manage to take a picture, but there's recent pictures on tripadvisor from someone else.

I ordered the chicken avo bagel (£7.30) without onions and a regular sized hot chocolate with oat milk (£3.75 - it was £0.45 extra for the oat milk. If you want a larger cup, it's £0.50 more).

The hot chocolate was pretty good! It wasn't flavourless like other places, it tasted sweet. I do think it's overpriced for the size, though, so you're better off going to other places. But for the taste, I'd rate it 4.5/5.

The chicken avo bagel was okay. It was honestly my first time trying a bagel, and it tasted like a regular bread, so I don't see much of the hype. The ingredients inside were nice, besides the chicken itself. I found the chicken chewy and rubbery in texture. It wasn't really that pleasant. The rest of the bagel was nice, I particularly liked the honey mustard mayo; it was sweet and slightly spicy. Though, the bagel is definitely overpriced. I'd rate it 3.5/5.

The service was pretty slow, and it wasn't too busy despite it being the weekend. The service was okay, they could be friendlier, but they're probably tired and overworked so it's understandable.

The atmosphere was okay, some people were chatting and others were doing work. They were playing music but it was rather quiet so it wouldn't disturb anyone if they wanted to study.

Overall, it was an okay experience. If I were to go again, I would only get the hot chocolate. But considering the price and size, I'd rather...

20240406 -1 Please bring back the chewy bagels! This is bread with a hole and not bagel QAQ The fillings are still tasty, but it’s more like a regular sandwich and loses its charm to me.

The filling is as tasty as last year, but the bagel itself is quite lackluster—literally. Perhaps this batch should be using a higher gluten flour, beaten longer, boiled longer, and/or baked at a higher temperature. A bit soft but still chewy than white bread.

A little disappointed with the bagel but I’ll keep the 5 star for very helpful and friendly service ;)

Finally some decent bagel in England! As a former New Yorker who can make bagel at home, I am able to satisfy my craving for a bagel that’s crispy outside, chewy and springy inside, dense and not drowned in water. The amount of veggie is surprising. Iced flat white tastes great, rich with nutty and dark chocolaty notes.

(I agree with some comments about the dated 2000s (?) dance/pop music, but I am tolerant to loud environment in general 😅)

Love the bar seats at the window.

Came back to try the Bey Root today. Arriving from Tel Aviv, I was not disappointed. Nice hummus (on the garlicky side though) and a dash of za’atar (with a prominent cumin flavor). Might not look as good as the classic chicken or salmon avo, but really special.

Same great latte with caramelly...

We are regular customers at Noxi. We sometimes used to go every day. Yet of late, it has been very disappointing. People started using the cafe as a public toilet : they enter, use the toilets and walk out without ordering anything. Nothing is said to them and the customers even get to rush because people who are there to pee only urge them to free the toilets banging on the door. It’s also hard to use the toilets since both customers and people from outside use them, there is a line and they are rarely free, the street is quite crowded and it looks like every one knows that toilets there are clean and for public usage. Same goes for the tables - some people order one coffee and sit or sleep on the tables for hours on end and recently, people come in, sit at the tables and order nothing but just occupy the space. There is never a free seat as a consequence for paying customers. This reflects very poorly on the management of the place and is not pleasurable for the customers. It’s a pity because the menu is ce nice, the place is quite clean but the experience is disastrous - you can’t sit and if you do, you can’t use toilets that you paid for. We will stop going for those reasons until the place is...
