Over Under Coffee, located directly opposite Earl’s Court Tube Station at 181A Earls Court Road, London, SW5 9RD, is a vibrant café known for its high-quality coffee, delectable brunch offerings, and dynamic ambiance. Daytime Experience: During the day, Over Under operates as a cozy café, offering a variety of coffee options and a concise yet satisfying brunch menu. Patrons have praised the establishment for its excellent flavors, quality ingredients, and friendly staff. The café’s design is both efficient and inviting, featuring seating for approximately 12-15 people, making it an ideal spot for a quick coffee or a leisurely brunch. Evening Transformation: In the evenings, Over Under transitions into a stylish cocktail bar, offering a selection of cocktails, some priced as affordably as five pounds. This dual-purpose approach provides a unique blend of café culture by day and vibrant nightlife by night, catering to a diverse clientele. Customer Feedback: Reviews from various platforms highlight the café’s commitment to quality and service. One customer noted, “A simple menu but excellent flavors and quality ingredients. A friendly staff and smooth service makes for a nice visit.” Another patron commented on the café’s ambiance, stating, “Great gaff! Historically, specialty coffee sites in West London haven’t lasted long, so it’s so great to see them doing so well.” Menu Highlights: The menu features a variety of items catering to different tastes. Some popular choices include: • Reuben Toastie (£7.50): Franconian’s salt beef, Reuben sauce, sauerkraut, pickles, and smoked cheddar. • Truffle Egg & Cress Roll (£6.90): Truffled egg mayo, basil cress, served in a seeded roll. • Poached Eggs on Toast (£5.00): Two poached eggs served on sourdough toast. These offerings, combined with their specialty coffee, make Over Under a favored destination for both locals and visitors. Conclusion: Over Under Coffee at Earl’s Court stands out for its high-quality coffee, thoughtfully curated menu, and the unique ability to transform from a daytime café to an evening cocktail bar. Its convenient location, directly opposite Earl’s Court Tube Station, adds to its appeal, making it a must-visit spot for those in the area.

I went here on vacation and let me tell you !!!! I had the worst experience of my life ! I wasn’t even off the plane for 3 hours , I landed took the train to my air bnb dropped my bags off and this was the first place I went to , my husband ordered hot tea and I got a iced tea (the hot tea came in a tea pot 🫖 with a little cup on the side and my tea came in a plastic cup with a top and straw) there was closed umbrellas out maybe 2 or 3 but there was one directly behind my husband I’m from Miami (this is my fist time in London so I have no idea how windy it is or how windy it could get) both of us were on our phone waiting for our tea and as soon as they bring the tea to the table a gust wind comes by and the umbrella falls and hits my husband in the back of his head and falls on the table knocking the tea pot on my lap the manager comes running out with a rag and immediately puts the rag in my pants trying to dry the tea up and rushes me to the bathroom and she was rubbing my leg with burn ointment and telling me how sorry she was (she was super sweet extremely nice , loved her) honestly I was so madd about my leg I didn’t say much to her, barely even looked at her but she was telling me she’s sorry and she’ll give us our money back and she’s the manager and she’ll give us 50% off when we come back and she’s told me she didn’t work the next day, I DEFINITELY WASENT GOING BACK AFTER THAT (even if it was free) I have 2 kids so **im a firm believer in accident happen! but when I walked passed the next day the umbrella were also out and closed and I think that’s why I was even more mad at that point but I am super grateful it didn’t burn my leg super bad (like everywhere the tea dropped) it did burn me bad by my area , it did bubble up and it was a little raw turned dry and brown. BUT THIS IS SOMETHING THAT COULD’VE BEEN PREVENTED

Best coffee in Earl's Court - But... Warning! The shop has been especially busy since the warm weather and outdoor seating area opened for dining in. The baristas and servers clearly work very hard despite the lack of kitchen and limited operating space. This is a very successful business with great coffee, food and atmosphere! It's difficult for me to write a critical word. Unfortunately, when visiting over the last week to take away, I have been subject to waits over 10 minutes for a simple americano. I have also been told told that the loyalty card program has been "not working" so I've been unable to gain credit for my orders, considering the price of the coffee the loyalty program is a really important attraction to any specialty coffee shop. They do not have Embargo, but an iPad where you log into your own app account. I'm sure an Embargo account with pick up options would reduce waiting time and queues as well as the loyalty infrastructure. Worst of all, I have been told on numerous occasions that the queue to pick up take away orders was down the left hand side of the shop up against a wall with exposed wires (pictured). I was horrified to turn around with my hot liquid and brush up against live open wires in this recipe for danger. As a loyal long time customer I am rooting for Over Under to improve their service and set up. However I have been really dissatisfied as the service issues have now turned to health and safety issues that comprise the customer.
