Papa Johns Pizza — Restaurant in London

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Papa John's in Maida Vale, and I must say, it was an absolute delight! From the moment I walked in, the aroma of freshly baked pizza filled the air, setting the stage for what turned out to be an extraordinary culinary experience.

The staff at Papa John's Maida Vale were incredibly welcoming and attentive, ensuring that my dining experience was nothing short of exceptional. Their professionalism and friendly demeanor added to the overall ambiance of the restaurant.

Now, onto the pizza itself - simply put, it was phenomenal! The crust was perfectly crispy on the outside yet delightfully fluffy on the inside, and the toppings were fresh and abundant. Each bite was bursting with flavor, leaving me craving for more.

In addition to their delicious pizzas, Papa John's Maida Vale offers a wide range of sides and beverages to complement your meal. I highly recommend trying their garlic cheese sticks- they are absolutely addictive!

Was hungry (very) late last night and saw that Papa John's was still open.

01:07 - Placed an order for a single pizza and some dipping sauce.

01:28 - The tracking tool was stuck at the first stage (preparing pizza) which usually takes a few minutes, so I called the store to ask about it. The staff member said that the driver was leaving with my pizza in 5 mins and would be with me in 15-20 mins.

01:54 - Still no pizza, tracking tool is still stuck so I call again. Staff member is vague, saying that the driver is on the way to me and tells me to "wait a bit"...

02:03 - It's late and I'm hungry, I call again. Staff member says that the driver left "10-15 minutes ago" and that I am 25 minutes away so he'll be with me soon. It is a 7 min drive from the store to me, according to google maps.

~2:20 - Pizza finally arrives, there is no plastic "pizza saver" so the box has collapsed and squashed my pizza, which is very soggy and way below the quality I usually get from Papa Johns.

Terrible. Waiting 1hr 10 mins for a pizza is bad enough, being outright lied to by the staff about when my order will be dispatched, when the driver left etc. is just horrible.

Tell me that it's going to be over an hour from the get-go and I'll accept it or ask to cancel my order. Don't keep lying to me about how...

When we placed an order, we had to request the person making the pizza to wash his hands as he went straight from using the phone, till and handling food to making our pizza.

We then got given the wrong pizza and found this out after we got home. We phoned the shop to advise and requested the pizza we ordered to be delivered and the incorrect one picked up.

We were told by both him and his manager who came on the phone that they won’t do that. We then requested a refund for the pizza, she told me that they also couldn’t do that as they don’t offer refunds. When asked what they were going to offer in the way of a solution, she continued to talk over me and said there is nothing they can or would do.

When asked for both staffs names we were also told they won’t be giving their names as, and quote, they’d lose their jobs.
