Pimlico Village — Restaurant in London

I should really give it 0* but this is the lowest that Google allow. Went in about 9am on a Saturday with my son and friend. It was busy with a lot of people buying coffee and snacks. However, we were extremely hungry so ordered 3 English breakfasts. They brought the drinks quickly but this was when the problems started..... The scrambled egg - microwaved and overcooked - COLD The sausage - COLD, not gone cold, but taken out fridge cold The bacon - the only nice thing The Beans - LUKEWARM Toast - Cold, but edible. Shame really as this place looked nice from the outside, but please don't waste your money. Also, a couple came in and wanted a pot of tea to share but was told the only teapot was in use so they could have another cup of tea when they drank the first one!! I'm really disappointed with the service here. Everything was going smoothly until we realized there was a confusion with the orders. It turns out they misheard our order. This is not surprising as they weren't writing down the orders. Anyways, I'm disappointed for how they handled this situation. They treated us like liars and wanted to cook it again unwillingly. I strongly discourage you to go to this place. When I wanted to give some feedback about this to the owners, they weren't listening. I have lived in Pimlico years & visit this delightful cafe daily. I do not recognise the negative comments posted here. Because the cafe that I visit is always spotlessly clean and the staff are ALWAYS warm, attentive, helpful and hard working. Presentation of food & drink is always excellent and tastes delicious. Superb location near the tube. I have always admired the tolerance of the staff when dealing with obnoxious customers (clearly some of whom are writing reviews). Fabulous team work @ Pimlico...
