Portobello Juice Hub — Restaurant in London

Amazing food, lovely atmosphere - local cafe selling vegetarian chicken nuggets YAY!!! And they've got phone chargers on all the tables too, which I thought was a nice touch. It's quite small so I thought it would be just a bog-standard cafe, but the food was really good - I had an oozy toasted vegan sandwich and kept nicking bits out of my friend's mixed salad bowl. Normally I hate salad and wouldn't touch it with a barge pole, and it takes a gold-standard salad to tempt me. I'm a bit puzzled why someone should have given it a bad review because the staff didn't wear gloves when preparing smoothies - I'd be surprised to see people wearing gloves in any restaurant kitchen and understood that hygienic hand washing is generally considered best practice in food preparation. Perhaps people preparing smoothies sometimes wear gloves to protect their own hands from getting stained by things like beetroot and carrots, and that may have misled the previous reviewer into thinking it's standard practice. Anyway, they've got a good hygiene rating so that's good enough for me. Going back today for an indulgent weekend breakfast, and I'd definitely recommend it for a visit. Or two. Or three. Or four....

If you care for your health, this place can be addictive, the juices and smoothies are so good and so fresh its hard not to leave with 2. I tend to do Moss Boss and the Black magic, say no more- outstanding, they give life and vitality.

The breakfast Acia bowls and dragon bowls are amazing and you can build your own with an extensive array of add-ons, from bee pollen to almond butter, the staff are always friendly, polite, helpful and pleasant, i always go in smiling and leave smiling more after been graced by angels, there is thought and love in all, the whole place is a vibe, and the Portobello road one is just as amazing.

I've ordered various things over here & never left a review before but I have to say they are amazing 95% of the time. So fast & will do anything you ask. It's a huge menu.

As for the prices, yes it's not 'cheap' but come on, this is central London, they have to pay people who love here, food costs a lot and everything is fresh. I think they run a slick operation because food businesses have the tightest margins of any business. It does feel like people on here are only leaving reviews when something goes wrong so as a regular I had to say something. The extent to which you can customise your order here is ridiculous so for that alone & the fact the service is so fast & many (most) items are delicious I feel like they earn 5* easily.

Also many menu items are medicinal and unusual to find in London so if you have special dietary needs they really...
