Decent pub, upwards ÂŁ10 for two pints but what can you expect from London đŸ€·â€â™€ïž. The food was good, ÂŁ9-11.50 for a pizza, and I believe the kitchen usually opens at 6 in the evening? Not sure about the morning however. This pub has a good beer garden and the staff are usually very nice aswell! Also has a chill atmosphere, and cool decor. Would recommend. Just making an extra note, that the staff is hit or miss. Went in their with my friends we are 19-23, and the two guys behind the bar were just rlly up their own arses. Idm getting asked for my ID, really doesn’t bother me but they were so rude about it for no reason lmao.

This used to be one of our favourite pubs in the area, so I was really looking forward to checking it out after the refurb. Sadly, they’ve taken off some of my go-to menu items - especially the hummus and flatbreads, which were a favourite. We ended up trying the Sunday roasts (beef and pork belly), but they were a real letdown. Both came out cold, the gravy was super watery, there were no sauces on the side, and the meat was chewy with loads of fat. Not great. Didn’t enjoy that at all. Service could be friendlier as well. Still love the vibe of the place, but the food isn’t what it used to be, which is a shame.

Love this place! I’ve been living nearby and finally decided to try it out. Now it’s one of my favorite pubs. The vibe is super cozy. I came on a Tuesday night, and it was busy, but the food was amazing! Definitely order the ink risotto—it was so good, I had to get a second round! The margarita pizza (£10) is also great and super affordable. We ordered a ton of food because it was so good—ended up doing 2 rounds just to try more of the menu! The staff was really nice, too. They mixed up our order but fixed it right away. Definitely recommend this place!

Having fond memories of having been in a few plays here about five years ago, I thought I'd stop by again. A friend and I walked in, looked at the beer selection and walked straight back out. What is going ON with your beer selection?! It's godawful. Woeful. You have a kitchen putting out some nice food and the space itself is pretty great. Why are you sabotaging your own business with the beer selection?Mass produced lagers such am Amstel, Sagres and others I can't recall. Guinness. Beers you will find in any average pub in London. Doombar (I think) which is terrible. I don't understand why it's in the majority of pubs. So why should people visit you, over the many other pubs in the area? The theatre? Well that has closed down. I don't know the details of why l, but I would guess it comes down to money. I doubt Theatre Collection chose to leave of their own accord, unless they were being stiffed financially. The food looks good, but wouldn't the experience be better if there were some decent drinks to pair with it?

We went back to The Rose and Crown, from whence we came, which has the full package. A lovely space and friendly staff. The beer selection is incredible and couldn't be any better. The food is also lovely and reasonably priced. I'll be back in there soon but won't glance at the Stanley again. Sorry to leave such a negative review, but I was disappointed with what I found after a long absence. The drinks selection you have to offer is inexcusable. Surely you realise that many people don't bother visiting...

Staying just around the corner so called in for a drink while in the area purchased 2 double gins and a couple of shots had a chat with the lovley young ladies on the bar was telling them how to make baby beers with liqour 43 and baileys (I run my own pub) sat outside with my friend as a nice evening was having a chat and a cigarette when a young man with long hair and a baseball cap came outside and said very abruptly can you go inside we need to clear this area my reply was yes can you just give me 2 mins while I finish my cigarette his reply was no not really and stormed off myself and my friend decided we would finish our drinks and leave so while finishing our drinks he came back and said hey I've told you you already. Unfortunately we will not be returning as the obnoxious man needs to learn some manners and maybe rather than demanding let his clientele know the outdoor space will be closing in 5 mins or so rather than speak to people like...

Had a very odd experience which left me feeling very hostile and not welcome. I was in a rush to meet my friends and accidentally walked in the wrong area which I was later told was a walkway just for staff. I held my hands up, apologising and went to find my friends. When I then came to order a drink I was told I wouldn’t be served as ‘they have a policy not to serve rude people’. This is a policy I can get behind, however I don’t think apologising for a mistake is rude. I apologised again for any misunderstandings but was yet again told about this policy. It was a very odd experience. In the end my male friend bought the round, so I guess it worked in my favour. However it did make me wonder if the male bar Staff would of spoken to another...
