Shockingly bad service for Pret, I have just been served (if I can call it that, by a young man called Richard (with a UK union flag on his name tag). He had no social skills at all, the counter was not busy as I was the only customer at the time (about 9.50 Thursday 23rd). There were other staff standing behind the counter talking, none of them looked friendly. The young man called Richard was the one closest to the counter but he didn't seem interested so I needed to ask him if he was serving, he mumbled something but I couldn't tell what. After saying what I wanted I could see how much I needed to pay from the till but he didn't interact with me at all, I had the impression I was disturbing him. When I paid he didn't say thanks. I had just been to a clinic for tests and have to say coming to this Pret store has been a horrible experience, I will never come here again. Very disappointing as I usually find the staff at other Pret stores very pleasant and friendly. I go to the Pret in St. Pancras station every day because the staff there are so nice and it is a pleasure to see them, but the staff I saw in this store are very disappointing. One of the staff talking behind the counter could have been a manager by her clothes and I would normally have told her but she didn't look that...

I recently visited this Pret and was thoroughly impressed with my experience. The shop was clean and tidy, with a great range of food and drinks available. The staff were friendly and welcoming, especially towards my children.

I appreciated how accommodating the staff were towards my children, making sure they were comfortable and providing high chairs when needed. It's not often that you find a food establishment that is so welcoming towards families with young children, and I was grateful for the effort that the staff put in to make us feel at home.

The food and drinks specially coffees were delicious, and I appreciated the variety of options available.

Overall, I had a fantastic experience at Pret and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a clean, welcoming environment with great food and drinks. The staff went above and beyond to ensure our comfort, and their friendliness and professionalism were truly...

It's hard to rate pret differently across the board as it's a chain that stays on brand so a fault in one is generally the same across others

However here there are a few problems.

It's a large pret despite the entrance being small, that expands the further you walk in, and yet there is only two PowerPoints in the entire premises. Now add to that there is a girls college nearby that flood the shop with nearly half the seating and loud and disruptive, it's this prets fault? No. But it's at the mercy of it's location, so avoid break times to not get swamped with kids.

A general problem with pret also is the huge price hike of all their foods , then they advertise that your subscription gives you 20% off..... from the 40% increase of their food range this year alone.

However, pret staff in general are well trained and give good service as per SOPs, so no problems...

Updated 5.12.21: This place should be SHUT DOWN! Aside from the minimal precautions being taken by customers, EVERY staff member was not wearing a mask. The till operator has an “exempt” badge, but the shop have provided no screens or anything to shield customers from him. Other staff don’t have an exemption badge. The “barista” making the drinks was coughing and spluttering non stop. So much so I didn’t feel comfortable staying in this shop. I took photos so there is evidence and I will be lodging complaints directly with Pret. This is beyond a joke level of respect for paying customers. I just pray this baristas selfishness doesn’t make anyone sick...

Bright and clean Pret, nice for sitting and having a chat. Very busy during rush hour, but customers are served as quickly as the staff can manage. Most of the baristas are very young and seem exhausted most of the time, but they're doing their best. They want to get people served and on their way as fast as possible. The manager here is a nice guy. There is no wheelchair access here. There's a step up that's about 6 inches to get into the shop. There is a toilet though, and plenty of seating at any time of day.

Really huge inside with loads of comfortable seating. Staff are really jolly and remember regulars. Loads of choice for meals, snacks and sweets treats. Great place to drop in for food or simple takeaway coffee. I had the vegan very berry crossiant. Good place to work from as long as you buy something. Great ambience. Toilets inside.
