Rose's Cafe & Bistro — Restaurant in London

Just the tonic for an hungover Sunday morning. I opted for the full English with extra black pudding, hash browns and toast. Chips accompanying a full English is alien to me, but something I’ve noticed in the south east. I was able to swap out with hash browns no problem. Every item was top tier and tasted delicious + a decent portion of beans, not just a thimble full like some cafs. The only item I wasn’t hugely keen on was the sausage, but that’s down to preference. It was clearly a decent banger with high meat content, but it just didn’t tickle my coin purse. I like a cheap sausage with my full English. I believe the price was reasonable for the area, but I’m not 100%. One tiny niggle it would’ve been nice to have toast included, but otherwise can’t fault it. Really good food most of the time, but like every were else it slips in its usual good standard. However I still maintain its is a good value place, and it suits me. The waitresses are nice and polite. It differs some what ,from were I come from ,the owners of establishments , tend to show common courtesy to customers; especially to regulars. Not so with this owner, he just ignores you ,even if you happen to just be sitting facing him . But this is London’s people who come from all over the World, and I guess I’ll have to accept their ways which happen to be different from the way I was brought up. Absolutely disgusting place. I was heading in with my 2 little ones and in the entrance of the roses was a woman. Apparently homeless but descenly dressed and not smelly. She told me that was hungry and she hasn't ate for 2 days. When I opened the door and tried to order something for her and my self, someone who pretend to be a manager but apparently was the owner refused to serve me and he said: take her out of here, don't bring me homeless here. If you want take her at your home. I asked him if he could serve her outside( as they have table) but he refused. The poor lady started crying and run away. It's unbelievable how many bad people are out there and how is possible that no-one of the customer stood out and support me....
