Amigos Burgers & Shakes-Kilburn — Restaurant in London

One place which actually broke my heart! I've been to this place few times before and always ordered the same type of wrap without salsa, but this time the cook put salsa sauce in my wrap and since I'm very sensitive to spice, I felt it straight away and told them to change it but the Indian old looking guy with glasses and the cook came and asked me to open the wrap, which was very disrespectful for a CUSTOMER!! Very!! I was not even making a fuss about it rather just asked them to change so I can eat my food, but the indian old looking guy with glasses (who was the manager) was very rude and said "first of all salsa doesn't have any type of spice and just eat the wrap or chuck it" And the cook rolled his eyes and went away.

All I want to say is that salsa contains chilli peppers which can be spicy to someone who is very sensitive to spice - must be noted!

This was one of my fav place to go and I had come all the way from Paddington but now I'm never ever going back to this place in my life!!

The manager is in desperate need of food hygiene and customer service training. I ordered a burger and noticed that large segments of the burger were pink after I had already eaten some. When I brought this to the attention of the store manager he couldn't care less and was extremely condescending. He said "so what do you want me to do" and that "this is how chicken should look". I was in utter shock that a grown man of his advanced age could blatantly lie and show such contempt to his customers. I was then not surprised to see that this place was rated 2 stars for food hygiene and noticed that other customers have left reviews complaining about this "manager" and the lack of quality of the food.

It is shocking that this place is able to operate in this manner as they obviously do not care about the safety of their customers.

Amigo's turned out to be far better then what we had tried a few years back. The best part is the meal deal, which is a real bargain. Burger, chips and a drink for £7.99. It's even cheaper with a chicken wrap and the size is even bigger.

So what do we recommend. The chicken is far better option as a burger or wrap. The pita is rather small. The condiments are of premium quality with the dips being as good as they get. The shakes are just perfect. Filed to the top with lush ice-cream making it thick. The fries are perfect and even better with the dips. The beef burger unfortunately is the same as before. Over cooked with a lack of taste and seasoning. The good news is, it's still a good burger with lots of charcoal grill taste coming out of it. We rather have the chicken option as a burger.

Overall this is a place that will fill you up no problem and you won't be breaking...
