Went here for an office dinner on Wednesday night. It's a perfect venue for drinks and to dance. But it's a bad choice for office dinners as it's more of a club - dim lighting, strobes and disco, too loud music and so much noise that you can't even hear the person see next to you. Also unless you pre-order the drinks with the food, there is waiting at the bar to be served. My food was good but we had one waitress attending to our big table of 12. Few pre-ordered food dishes of my colleagues were mixed up, bacon was added to chicken dishes (few in our group have religious or dietary restrictions) and everyone's food didn't arrive at the same time. A colleague couldn't make childcare arrangements and had to bring her 2 year old along and it was not a good setting for the toddler either. Probably if I went with the intention to club, the review would have been...

The two stars go to these guys working there in the morning on Sunday. Although there were some issues with them.

Ordered chicken avocado blt with Mayo, which came without the avocado and instead of Mayo a different red sauce. And halloumi and avocado, this time had the avocato (even tho was only like three pieces which wasn’t not even 1/4 of avocado) with melted cheese on it? Very weird.

I understand how difficult it could be working in the morning of a Sunday but it is still a job and people have forgotten that customer pay for the things you made. I mean and it wasn’t busy, it was dead quite. Probably there was some issues with the comprehension of the order.

Next time I will specify all the ingredient...

Service was non-existent.

I have been here for drinks at lunch in the past and while it has been difficult to get served I chalked this up to not eating, and not reserving a table.

Last week I reserved a table for 4 of us and during the 2 hours that we were seated at the table, not once did a waiter/waitress come to our table to take our order.

We ordered a bottle of wine to the table to begin with, which never came so I had to inquire at the bar - turns out it was never put on the order. Every time we needed drinks or food we had to go up to ask. We had to ask twice for the bill even though we were running late because of all this our waiter still ran away before we could pay! I had to go up once again...

Visited for a Swifty brunch and was disappointed with the outcome. Would’ve been a great experience if we didn’t have to constantly ask for drinks and if we were given the hats and props that were part of the brunch when we first arrived. The last 40min was probably the best of our brunch as we were getting served constantly (I think they got the hint we were annoyed with the service). Steve was great and tried to look after us as best as he could when my food came out wrong, when we waited 15min for water, etc. Hopefully my next visit will be a better experience!

Who doesn't like Waffles and Ice cream for breakfast!! Had that, followed by the 5 plate sharing nibbles. The waffle and donut was really nice. Good quality ice cream, thick and creamy. Mozzarella sticks lush, crispy and golden with a nice BBQ dip. Camembert wedges, tasty, Bao Bun, wasn't what I was expecting but was tasty none the less. The baby potatos though drop it a star as they were cold and even slightly frozen in the middle. Great place to come as a couple or a group.

Went here with my family and it was really good for cocktails, lovely 2 4 1 offer available! However they do no NHS or student discount on food which is disappointing. The food was okay. Nothing special we got the S&L Platter and I was slightly disappointed with the freshness as tasted a bit like Spoons pub food. However for Ā£18 it wasn’t that bad of a deal. I’d recommend coming here for cocktails not food.
