Bevis Marks Synagogue — Attraction in London

One of the four remaining synagogues in the City and East End of London, Bevis Marks has an interesting history, having opened in 1701. It's found on a little alleyway near Liverpool St station (if you can imagine this is how most of the city would have looked back in that area) and given the modest entrance is surprisingly grand once you venture inside. Just be aware that their website is a total mess and confusing! I have turned up for a lecture , to find out that actually it was over!!! The person who opened the door did not even know about what’s going on, so please don’t listen to other people how nice it is also it is very difficult to find it, so personally speaking I would not recommend to anyone!
