Me and my husband went on 12th may, @13:00 slot, for his birthday and the lovely two ladies at front desk who greeted us (who’s names I never got, but were so very kind and helpful) gave us a token for either a free drink or Martian Sundae (we went for the sundae, and it was delicious!)

All actors played their parts perfectly and immersed us into their world and I wish I could say more! Seriously! You could feel the fear, the tension, uncertainty and passion as they performed. I particularly liked the professor, the soldier, the boat keeper and housekeeper.

The professor (I am unsure of his name as I have bad memory) was an amazing actor who gave our group facts about the stars and constellations, and when it came to the actor meeting the crash landed Martians, hearing him scream in pain was almost believable!

The Housekeeper, oh my. Her acting was on point. The same as artilleryman, making light of situation and asking questions to our group, and when their ‘death’ came around, it was again, perfect! I wasn’t expecting it and again, her scream was so believable I could hear her through my ear plugs! Amazing.

The solider, the soldier was brilliant. Guiding us through and showing us where to go and interacting with us. You could tell they were enjoying what they were doing. The first time we meet them, they guide us through tunnels and to the front lines, they were brave and inspiring, and the second time we meet them, they’re terrified, and seem broken by what the Martians have done, in a sense of disbelief and in a state of facade. You can probably tell by my words, I could believe how they felt! Their emotions were so strong and powerful.

The boat keeper! He was so very kind and lovely! He joked with us, interacted with our group as if we were in their world. He was also very helpful when my VR headset was messing up, and there was a point we were allowed to do the VR headsets again (me and my husband) as I didn’t get the full experience, and even then! Still treated us as we were part of their world when another group came in! So very kind.

And also! The hot air balloon keeper, they also helped me with my VR headsets too! While I was struggling with my VR, he helped me get out of the balloon, handed me my headset and made sure everything was okay. And for the trouble, he handed me two free survivors shots for the bar for the trouble I was having! (Purely out of kindness and not because of the free drinks tokens, this was the kindest I’ve been treated at a VR/immersive experience/escape room! So please give the gentleman a drink as a huge thank you for me!)

After the experience and pictures, me and my husband were helped by Rex and Mo, who were so very lovely! Rex, before the start of the experience, helped me get Ear plug as I have PTSD and They even explained in certain areas where the loudest noises/effects are. This was so very helpful as if I did not know this, I would have ruined the experience for everyone else! But again, after the experience, Rex and Mo helped me and my husband out so much! They helped us with pricing, helping me with my PTSD and gaining ear plugs, and also, a show pass. Thankfully, I didn’t need to use the card, but was helpful regardless! They even offered to get someone to help If I could see the VR sections again as in two of the VR sections, I missed half of the first parts. And this is where Kieran comes in! They were so very kind and considerate, guiding me and my husband through to see the VR sections without ruining the immersion for other groups, let us know beforehand when we were about to go and see the VR sections (as at the time we had drinks) and even when there were small issues, he’d give us a heads up. Again, so very kind and helpful.

Everyone who worked the shift on 12th may for the 13:00 time slot was so very kind, helpful and made the day very special and immersive for me and my husband. I hope they all (floor/bar staff and actors) get recognition for this as I know it’s not that easy! Many thanks, Juniper and...

As massive war of the worlds fans we weren't sure what to expect when we did this experience for my birthday but we're not disapointed. From walking in to leaving the staff and the actors were fantastic. Friendly chatty and helpful. We went for two vip tickets and that came with a meal two drinks a photo and a discount at the shop. It also came with a souvenir program but they had ran out so they took our address and will post them to us later. The experience itself was fantastic. Genuinely scary in some bits so I dont recommend if you don't like a good scare or are of a weak constitution! I have mobility problems but still managed to do the interactive elements but someone in our group couldn't and there were alternative routes if needed, and it was all done in theme! We were bumped up a group as we got there early so we had a rather large group of survivors. I feel like if we had been in a smaller group the experience would have been diffrent, but it was still heaps of fun and the actors managed to make it feel more intimate even if we had a group of 14

I will say the vr headsets need fixing. All three of the headsets I used had some sort of fault. The first one kept showing the lens distance whenever you tried to turn your head and the other two kept white screening if you moved your head to much. It didnt distract from the experience but it did take you out of it a little especially when your a massive wuss like me and will jump and yell at any sort of jump scare.

We had the red weed cocktail in the interval room and it was perfectly made. Well done to the barman, he was very good at his job, and managed to serve everyone with time to spare because 20 mins wasn't a long time to make that many cocktails.

We had food after in the spirit of man as it was part of our vip package. We also got two more cocktails blue new world and mist of Mars. They were both really nice, the chocolate one was fantastic. I had the vegan burger and it was one of the best vegan burgers ive ever had. The fries were better than some of high end places weve eaten while in london. The pizza was massive. I 'won' a sunday as it was my birthday. What i could eat of it was nice my other half enjoyed it ( im allergic to ice cream lol the travesty) It was the thought that counts and they didn't have to do anything but a birthday treat is always appreciated. The prices in the gift shop were all nice and clear. But here comes my only major downside to the whole thing. The place is cashless. I had over 100 in birthday money I couldn't spend because I only had cash. Then the payment systems went down. Thankfully we had already paid for the things we wanted in the gift shop and were waiting for food when it happened. Also the gift shop had few clothing items bigger than a small. Again we would have spent a fortune if more things were in bigger size. I managed to get the hoodie I wanted but it was the last medium in the shop! All in all an amazing day vip worked out as really good value for money as we added up food drink programs lockers and the such and it came to more than what we paid for...

Being a massive fan of the music seeing this advertised on our trip to London with myself and my partner, saw us attend this experience also with a friend, right from the get go you are amazed even by the decor, as soon as you entered you feel sucked in, not just like some where you are witness to a story, you are totally involved and living through the invasion, HOWEVER the interval and time for a cocktail in the red weed bar, led to something more… my now fiance proposed!!! He tells me that he sent a message and while they received after we had already entered they waited for me to nip to the toilet (also handy to have half way through) to plan letting him know it could be wherever he choose. He proposed in the lounge, what’s next truly got us, while an already immersive experience the actors improvised and adjusted the script to include us even more so, renaming two characters our names and even having a love triangle with another! Including a proposal… sadly that one was not accepted, many congratulations while staying in character the whole time! The ending took us to the photo opportunity, on which we had a photo with our friend, but then a big point was made of having some photos of just us two!! And to end the experience with some fizz! When we exited we were also then treated to a special reserved table with some flowers and a card to ourselves. And all photos taken were sorted out for us to keep! And they also took us back into the lounge with no others there to take some more photos. And a chance to meet some of the cast and have a lovely photo with them.

This truly all went above and beyond! And from myself (grace) and Rob we can’t thank you enough! An already amazing experience just even more special and personal, especially with so little time to prepare! Now onto my comments on the experience you will find. We actually purchased the VIP experience as it’s truly worth the money what’s included, the whole immersion was amazing with a mix of VR and involvement from yourself to join in, all the actors were amazing! And played their characters well, like I said before the total improvisation was perfectly in line with their characters and era, but just shows how talented they are! The food was AMAZING! And the cocktails were stunning! Especially the special one in the red weed lounge only available there, don’t let the gin put you off! You can’t taste it!! But the meals were amazing, we were too full for dessert sadly! Maybe too many drinks after the special occasion! But what I truly appreciated was my cocktail with my food the cherry bakewell, I left to have after my food, because of how long this was, they only offered to remake my drink so I could enjoy the full flavour!

But I appreciate this is long, thank you all soo much, we will be back! I’m sorry I didn’t get names with everything but the whole crew, and front of house team, bar staff and cooks were amazing! Thank you for making such a special occasion even more special!! I may have e forgotten things as I’m still on cloud 9 but from the bottom of our hearts,...

What can i say about this place The location and experience itself Out of this world, literally, we’ve already said we want to come back you can’t help but be drawn into the story, the characters and the experience is beyond amazing, The food and drink, we bought the VIP tickets which are totally worth it, from the extras, vouchers and the food is brilliant I proposed to my girlfriend in the red weed bar, with assistance from a long standing friend, what i didn’t expect was the assurance and love shown by the staff, from drinks, to a card and flowers, even a change in script to match the proposal, you all made a special day even more special thank you all so so very much Love from Rob and Grace xx

Many thanks, Juniper and Connor Barry!

I feel like if we had been in a smaller group the experience would have been diffrent, but it was still heaps of fun and the actors managed to make it feel more intimate even if we had a group of 14 I will say the vr headsets need fixing. All in all an amazing day vip worked out as really good value for money as we added up food drink programs lockers and the such and it came to more than what we paid for the tickets.
