🍣 THE NEWEST HOT SPOT IN SHOREDITCH! 🍣
I recently had the pleasure of experiencing the soft opening of the brand-new Sticks'n'Sushi in Shoreditch, and let me tell you, it exceeded all expectations. In fact, I was so captivated by its charm that I found myself returning for two consecutive days—once for an unforgettable lunch and again for an exquisite dinner!
One of the things that truly impressed me was how this branch seamlessly upholds the exceptional quality that defines all the other Sticks'n'Sushi locations. What sets the Shoreditch spot apart, though, is its remarkable spaciousness, offering a respite from the overcrowded hustle and bustle of places like Covent Garden.
As an sushi lover, I couldn't help but be delighted by the incredible selection and impeccable taste of the sushi. Each bite was a harmonious fusion of flavors, leaving my taste buds dancing with joy. The cocktails, starters, sticks, and desserts were no exception—each a delightful masterpiece in its own right.
In fact, I am convinced that Sticks'n'Sushi Shoreditch will become my go-to cocktail destination in the area. With a somewhat limited selection of cocktail bars that truly satisfy my needs, the massive bar inside the restaurant stands out as a refreshing new option.
If you're in search of a delicious dining experience in Shoreditch, look no further than Sticks'n'Sushi. Prepare to be enchanted by its unparalleled ambiance, delectable cuisine, and yummy...

Took my friend here for his belated birthday. This place looked kinda fancy, the decor was nice, service and plating too! Also we had a lovely Fuji Caress which is a non alcoholic spirit shaken with matcha and grapefruit soda, it had a tang for sure, it came with branded plastic straw also the table settings was cute, each chopstick came with a pebble to rest on and all different sizes.
Also when I made this booking there was options for certain occasions so I put birthday and then later the waitress we had brought out some sort of dessert on a stick (I forgot what it was and tasted like as we went in April 2024)
We went with the Capre Diem set and some extras. Personally my favourite was the ebi bites and salmon carpaccio 😇
Honestly can not find any negatives in this place, maybe just smaller plates for dishes or bigger tables but that can’t be helped 😅 but also some dishes had wasabi and yeah.. The Yaki yagi felt a little too much as it was goats cheese. I did not enjoy it, it didn’t feel quite right in the set but it is what it is.
Would definitely come again with more people as I’d like to try the larger platters c:
Friends opinion: good decor, 5/5, easy to understand the menu, the set we chose was filling. Service was good, good portions, would make a great date place....
Read moreI actually love this restaurant however this time I had an unpleasant experience. The music was very loud & we had to shout to have a conversation over dinner (too much for the vibe of this place). Some of the wait staff were very disappointing. Towards the end of our meal we literally got asked 5 times if they could clear our plates, by our main waitress a couple of times and several others. We still had food on them, and we still had wine. Of course the first time is fine, but after that it became disruptive. My demeanour probably inferred this though I was still polite - unfortunately it drew VERY obvious attitudes from the staff (2 in particular) whereby the ‘turned’ and rolled their eyes and sighed at me - not even bothering to actually hide their rude reactions. This is not something I’ve ever experienced here, or at any other sticks and sushi before. I wanted to jump out of my seat and tell them they might like to watch themselves because it’s one thing to be annoyed privately but to be so rude is just unnecessary. It wasn’t even when the restaurant was closing, there were a good 20+ people still in there, perhaps 10.30pm. Anyway, considering it was a special occasion which I noted on booking, I also have a coriander allergy (one dish came with coriander on it though was replaced immediately) the whole thing was just a...
