I've always been told that this place was quirky, but always popular with people who want a decent pub that isn't catering to the mass market larger crowd. It turns out it's true, there's a decent selection of real ales, although it's well known that they run out of stock of many, and occasionally all of the ales. There’s a vast range of cask ales on offer and plenty of keg too. The staff were very friendly and quick to line up the drinks. You can’t knock any pub that has Tayto crisps either. Prices are much more affable than the majority of pubs in Putney.
It was great to find a non generic pub with a good crowd, decent music and excellent beer. It will be top of my list when next...
